The first Rare spawn iv seen, or if this was in ff11 it would be considered an HNM.

Level 42 ... Well, thats not very high. I saw a video on warcraftmovies site of what seemed a Dungeon Boss. It was lev 62 and was changing form during battle ^^. Cool stuff.

Maybe this one IS a hnm, but it seems like a regular NM being lev 42. Looks badass though, nice pic.

its most likely ffxi hnm style, just like Bloodtear ect arent that high lvl, but are fuckin HARD for their lvl. I would assume that to be true for this guy, i couldnt imagine a group of 42's killing that thing.

The dragons they implemented before open beta release are fucking unstoppable, no one has killed them.

I was surprised when i found a bunch of lvl 60-62 elite dragonkin prancing around north east ashenvale. They saw me from a mile away and killed me post haste. anyone know what the deal with these are? are why are they in a newb zone ;;

i always hated how the only mobs that are cool in FFXI are one that Are gods or HNMs the Jp most Whore.

Heh, eranikus wiped us once pretty fast, only cuz we didnt know to clear out all the dragonkin before fighting him....

We were doing fine till we got ambushed from behind... thankfully the dragonkin go back to their original spots and dont hang around eranikus after he calls them.

was in the first group on server that killed eranikus, now i just camp em for loot for my guildee's. any of the hi lvl instances without a raid group is where the true challenge of this game is.

Hmm Dozi, Gold Dragon mobs are not considered HNM's. Silver dragon ones are the ones you need to look for. Silver Dragon indicates that its a rare spawn, and can drop good stuff. they also look different than the placeholders around them. Im not sure if they have a set spawn time or anything, but I found one last night and this is what I got. ;p

yeah as stated above, its part of the save the princess series of quests for mid level players... spawns pretty often, and he's pretty damn weak :D

WoW, Pix i did not know that dragon dealy. Hell i didn't notice a dragon until you said something :oops: . Good thing to know, no more getting my hopes up for crap.
