Warriors rolling on daggers ... ok. That sucks. I so need to find a new 2h axe. I'm still using Gatorbite Axe, which is good, but not great. Waiting for Brain Hacker to drop *sigh*. I have some good 1h axes though : Wraith Scythe and Serathil.

Well I don't know how your guild works but we do free for all loot and trust no one loots the shit. If your guild does that and your warriors are looting deathstrikers kickz dem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sure u can say its not only a rogue weapon just because others can use it, thats also like saying gift of the elven magi could be a rogue dagger because they can use it despite the caster stats on it. Deathstriker is THE BEST weapon a rogue can have in this game ATM, and if your raiding with anyone you respect or guild with, the OBVIOUS people who should roll on it are the rogues.

Just saying..yeah its a good dagger for rogues but its all about personal play style.

True, but all daggers ARE for backstab/ambush rogues.

Warriors don't get daggers over rogues.

This is the best 1hand weapon in the game pre onyxia drops /mc drops. The first Deathstriker went to our main tank for Onyxia/MC Bosses and let me tell you he does NOT lose aggro when he uses that (The proc stacks with heroic striker omg) After that no rogues weren't present for it during UBRS raids so the warriors lucked out as it was defaulted to them. Saying it is a rogue only weapon is retarded as it helps warriors help hold aggro much easier.

They really should just limit a lot of gear to specific classes. There is a lot of unnecesary drama around the dreadmist/magister sets too...

Our tank doesn't lose aggro and he doesn't need it <.<

You say that now but you won't when your whole raid is letting lose on Onyxia and he turns and kills you. What good is a deathstriker to a dead rogue eh?

Yeah, I agree with Naiobi..... a good dmg dealer isn't one that can pull aggro, its one that can walk the fine line of no-aggro and good dmg....

There are better weapons for warriors to hold hate with.

And what do dmg dealers have to do with bad tanking? In MC, no mage, Priest, rogue, hunter, or warlock pulled aggro of our main mobs ever. Throw taunt in there as an excuse, but I can throw 4 warriors at him all spamming sunder/rend and taunt is hardly neccessary.

Bad tanks might need it, good ones surely do not.

weapons Don't hold much difference for holding aggro. The only thing they could possibly lend a hand in is rage generation. If your tanking in MC or Onyxia, you should most certainly be protection spec and you won't be doing very much dmg. All your hate will be in abilites such as sunderer(mainly sunderer since rend doesnt really pull hate very much. just an afterthought if there is an overflow of rage)and sheild bash on casters, accented by revenges every now and then. And everytime hate escapes you, taunt is right there waiting. Dmg on big mobs should mainly be in bursts anyway. The best strats on most tough mobs is letting the warrior fight alone save for heals for like 10 mins until dmg is unleashed. You will be doing such measley dmg with that dagger that its an awfly big pity you have it at all when a rogue could be getting 200% more use from it. The only warriors that might have to depend on dmg for hate is an arms spec warrior and they shouldnt be tanking mobs that are up for debate in the first place.

From my personal experience, I have one of the highest dps one handed axes (highest recorded on thotbott)(because rogues can't use them) and it makes no difference at all from my old 35 dps axe when tanking any mob. I'd much rather some stm or something imo, I'm not doing shit for dmg. Leave that to the rogues, mages, hunters, and warlocks.

Unfortunatly Onyxia is immune to taunt, you'd know if you'd try her. Aggro generated against her is pure damage and skills (like the aggro inc from defensive stance etc..) Please don't bring MC into this because MC is not hard at all until Ragnaros and the guy to spawn him, lmao.

It doesnt matter, I hardly ever use taunt, the only time i usually pop a taunt is when moving to a diff mob to get it off whoever is offtanking. If dmg is the way you pull hate, you are fucked. Prot spec warriors do no dmg at all. Aggro is all in sunderer and revenge and sheild bash etc. Now, doing dmg for like say 10-20mins before veryone else jumps in is another great way to hold aggro on big mobs. But I don't consider this "holding hate by dmg". Of course a warrior who does 50 dmg will have a harder time hoding hate then one that does 120 but it makes such a small difference.

MC is still hard to most people on pvp servers, unfortunately we have distractions from leveling and only like 5 guilds allaince side have the people to attempt it. And most are only on their 3rd attempts at most. BESIDES, it was not my point that it was hard, I was merely presenting an instance where you would have a full raid unloading on a mob you were tanking.

^point. Onyxia is a 3-tank 10 minute start, not a "hey lets fuck rush him!"

Not all of us can get to 60 in 8 days played time, PvP servers are a tad bit harder, thus our MC runs are just hitting the fruitation of PvE's Onxyia runs.
