Sunday i did my first MC raid, it was pretty cool. Sadly because of lack of priests and expierience (guild alliance second MC run) We didnt being Lucifron, i know its sad. But his two guards dropped a purple war belt. Also when we got into MC and killed the second dog we wiped. Came back killed the first dog and then they decided to restart the server. So we wait and get back together about 10 or 11. We stay and wipe at luci until 3:30 in the morning. Its sad but this weekend were hoping to down him and mag, wish us luck. Pics will come when i get home! |

dont really have too much advice on those two since we kinda took em down easily  we're currently having trouble with garr still, cant manage to get the pull down
we've taken down luci, mag, shazz, gehennas, and geddon though got my first piece of nightslayer last night off of gehennas

First MC raids are very exciting, then when you start going deeper, it gets even better ^^. We are trying Majordomo tonight. I'll be happy if we can just spawn Ragnaros  And I'll cream my pants if we kill him lol.

Dinav, did you stock up on Fire resist or did you just equipped your best stats gear ? Since it takes around 200 FR to make it worthwhile, is it really worth it ? |

Honestly can't say. "Giving away strats to other guilds" is against the rules, as Darksoul is in another guild and reads these forums :P. |

lol, is it really a strat ? Oh well, your call. As for ourselves, we don't ditch stats for FR gear when we go for Onyxia/MC. We figured we were doing much better and FR wasn't really worth it, unless they boost it a bit. Ragnaros is different though with all those AoE and when people fall in lava... I dunno, maybe it is still not worth it. I was just curious. You can still PM me though

fire resist pots out the ass. and watch the nightmare vs rag vid from curse-gaming.com for positioning. ATM fire resist isnt reallly neccesary because the aoe fire that suppose to hit melee can be backed away from and avoided while still being in melee range. They will change that in the next patch. bam the secrets are out. everyone does the same thing. Dinav's guild leaders are just retards. |

Well, yeah the Fire prot pots were a given. We've been using them for Geddon too. Kinda useful on melees to ease up the healing. It's not basd for Magmadar either. |

We've killed Rag 4 times now i think, he's just to easy and his drops reflect it. We've gotten to the point where we don't use fire pots anymore :-( |

Im running our guilds first MC run this weekend, being a Euro server we are linking up with 2 other small guilds to make sure we have enough people, ive done MC a few times in 'pick up' groups and have a fair knowledge how to get to and past lucifron but thats about all heh, guess ill spend sat morning reading all i can about what to have people doing |

If you guys need help with Luci and Mag, I can help you about the pulling tactics. We have good strats for all the bosses up to Majordomo. YEs we were inspired by Conquest's guide, but we changed things here and there to suit us best, thus improved over their guide. |

perdition blade was one of the drops off rag on our server, he's been killed twice now. Such a nice dagger, 137 max dmg, i could ambush for around 2k with that on a cloth user w/ +5 enchant and sharpening stone |
