So I rolled a Mage.


Ok so I rolled the mage last week.

Anyway Im up to level 28 already. Talisin and I are in a little bit of a race to 60 (although I dont really care if he beats me and he doesnt care if I beat him. Ironically the winner will only get mocked by the loser anyway haha).

Talisin is 26 and Mikey is 19. Way to keep up with the pack mikey.

anyway. I swear theres a point to this topic.

Here's the feedback Im looking for.


What Add-ons should I use (or are fun to use) and how should I be specing? Im going down the fire tree now and talisin is doing the frost tree. I see benifits to both and when combined its pretty powerfull.

You know you two may want to try leveling together. Find some mobs your level or lower that are social numerous, and don't use ranged attacks ( the syndicate in various places come to mind, or the orc in arathi basis in a few levels).


Then simply have one mage ( probably yarr since he's frost spec and will have iceblock/coldsnap, and eventually ice barrier for when shit goes south. go gather up some mobs, and frost nova them in place. The other mage at range blizzards while the first mage runs past him and blizzards over the closer edge of this buddies blizzard. You don't need to blizzard of course. Flame strikes/blast waves/CoC/IAE whatever works for you. With two mages someone's Imp Frost nova/blastwave/blink should almost always be up to get distant and cast another aoe.

While this is happening the second mage prepares to frost nova when they are about to leave the blizzard area of effect.

Then finish up with IAE/blast wave.

If you can pull 8-10+ mobs a go with this you'll level lightning fast.

I'd tell you to fuck off. But whats the point. Attempting to offend me to come back to ff will not get you anywhere, nor will it convince me to give out my account info.
