There was an article about this bomb developement awhile back before 9/11 happened. The original scope of the developement was supposed to be a bomb that took advantage of "hormone warfare" in order to create an atmosphere where it was impossible for the opposing force to conduct themselves properely.

Part of the problem they listed on the white paper about it was the idea that the majority of military forces are not 50% male/female, so you would have issues of the hormones not being effective if they only made you attracted to people.

They were presenting the idea that if the hormones were targeted the right way, they could still produce a general euphoria and create a sense of over-zealous security for ones team mates if you were not in a female/male situation. So in effect create a false over the top sense of brotherhood between your fellow man or women, so that you would not be able to function correctly. Sort of like making you see all the guys in your platoon as brothers you need to save and protect, but on the scale of a fundamentalist zealot...

It was never really thrown around at the time of the article I read, the idea that it would turn you "gay". Although I guess a "false over the top sense of brotherhood" might come across that way in certain situations.. I highly doubt it though. It might have been a cloak and dagger idea in the background i can't say, but for the most part it sounds like a weird idea for a weapon just got labeled with a very notorious and sinister theme.

This is really old news though as I said, the article I read about this "hormone bomb" was covered under a whitepaper about hormone warfare and hormone use in advertising and general public consumption. It was at least before 9/11 even happened that I read it.

They have also attempted paranoia bombs, rash bombs, and delusional bombs. Those last three I never saw articles on them after they were discussed in that paper.
