There's a high school I work in quite often and so many girls dress like strippers. It's disgusting. I've never seen so many thongs sticking out of pants as I have at this school. There's low cut tops everywhere and many girls who shouldn't be wearing revealing stuff, definitely do. The problem is that no one enforces the dress code. High school isn't a bar...it's an educational facility. The teachers complain about it and don't seriously or consistently do anything about it. It's disappointing and gross. It's my former high school and it was the same back then. Yuck.

when did you guys go to high school? i was 1995-1997 (quit & started college @ 16)

we had a few windows 3.1 computers but they didn't have internet and no one ever considered using it for anything other than computer class.
best game we had was Duke Nukem (that's duke nukem 1.)

i used to wear a metallica metal up your ass shirt, and every time i had to put black tape over the word Ass. i just kept the same piece of tape and reused it each time.

I was in high school from 1999-2002. I fast-tracked and graduated in 4 years as opposed to 5 (my year was the last to have OAC/5th year of high school, and I skipped it) and went straight to university.

3. Underage girls do dress like they're ready to get a job at a strip joint and it bother's the shit out of me, but at the same time I feel like it's the responsibility of the parents not the school to monitor what their kids are wearing and what they deem as appropriate or not.

One time a buddy and I Epoxy'd all the locks to our high school late one night. That was fun.

One teacher also liked me enough to enter the grades into his computer. I charged people for A's lol. made a couple hundred bucks.

Oh gawd high school was awesome. I never dealt with wearing weird stuff, though, I just wore regular clothes.

I got the shirt from Jinx that says "U r teh suck!one1"etc and the one driver's ed teacher was so anal about it that he wanted me to turn my shirt inside out because of the word suck.

If girls are dressing like sluts and distracting students and teachers then it's the schools responsibility to make sure that the kids are dressed in potato sacks.

And to the OP: With all the school shootings, are you really surprised to get reprimanded for a shirt with references to blowing someone's head off? It's from a video game you say? Who cares. Also. Why would you wear a Naruto headband? Is it Halloween? Dress like a human being and not a cartoon.

Same here. I barely graduated haha. The first 3 years of high school I was a drug addict, ditched classes a lot, and I never did my homework. I had to see the superintendant on 2 different occasions because I was such a pain in the ass. One of which I yawned while he was looking me in the eyes and talking to me. He got really pissed and snapped on me.

I got expelled my Junior year for drinking wild turkey whiskey on campus. I had to go to an alternative learning school (where all the fuckups go) for the remainder of the year.

I quit drugs (not alchohol tho haha) and got my shit together senior year. I got a special deal where I went to morning and night classes at the alternative school so I could make up for lost credits (I was literally a year behind due to failing so many classes). I got lucky and graduated with my class at Gilbert High in 99. The ALC school was part of the gilbert school district so all my credits went to my gilbert high diploma.
