My goals are simple.

1) Make sure my children are better than me.
2) Make sure that everyone who knows me is better for doing so.
3) Do at least one thing that makes the world a better place.

Might considering adding some more technical accomplishments to your goals.

Examples:
1. Build/Repair your own computer
2. Repair/Replace parts in your own car.
3. Make your own picnic table from scratch.
4. Make your own crafts. (My mother does this and loves it, father does the woodworking aspect, she does the cloth, stiching, and general creativity. It actually started as a hobby and is now a profitable business)
5. Film your own spoof/real home movie. (If you've never a B rate chinese movie complete with 6 people playing 17 parts, complete with "self dubbed" speech, you don't know what you're missing. It's priceless.


Fun stuff to try:
2-3 week vacation, Drive across Canada/United States and stop in small towns with historical relevance.
Gamble in Las Vegas or Reno
Parasailing
Skydiving
Go to the shooting range

Some things on my short term goals list. hard to put a long term list down. might go dying on the short term list and some1 might invent something cool to do anyhow...

1- Learn to Scuba dive
2- Finish the learning to fly (had 5 lessons so far)
3- Free fall parachutting (done a few static line jumps that was cool)
4- Learn wake boarding (got a few friends that do this already)
5- Get a pay rise to pay for the above ^^

Always tons of other things i could write but i think just taking 5 things and replacing them once they are ticked off is the best way - afterall your outlook on life can change.
