Im on a PS2, I wanted to be able to copy text from the dialogue window so I went out and bought a mouse to see if I could highlight and cut, copy and paste and as far as I can see, no. Is this something you can do on the PC version? I find it really frustrating to type out a sentence hit enter, realize Im in the wrong mode and have to re-type the whole sentence over again. If you know of a way to copy and paste the text, Id love to know.
Ummm... nope, can't copy and paste text. They did recently make it so that "Home" and "End" keys worked, so you can hit Home, delete the /l to replace with /p (etc etc) and then "End" to finish sentence...
Kind of a pain in the ass, but .. yeah, you take what you can get. The addition of the Home and End keys working, it's a lot better now though.

how come you cant see your LS on the map? It would nice. When we try and meet we are constantly flashing <pos> to try and figure out where the other person is or forming a party so you can see them on the map. Speaking of <pos> wouldnt it be nice to be able to put in the name of the map, maybe some thing like <area> or <zone> so that you could flash Im at E-9 La Thiene.
Wouldn't that just make it too easy? I mean really, you can't just have things handed to you! Where's my LS friend! lol
I usually get in the same square as the person I'm looking for and run around repeatedly hitting /target "<nameofperson>" .. It'll usually target them fairly quickly, once their char loads up anyway. I do this when I get a Raise request (ie, in Valkurm)...

Oh and when someone calls for help how about it automatically popping up on your map so you can find them easier. maybe in those green markers? I see people asking for help all the time and by the time I find them they are dead.
When you see the screen say "XXXX Calls for Help!" if you're closeby, you'll have a red arrow on your radar (the radar above the text area). The red arrow shows where the monster is that's been "Called for Help" on. If the monster or you moves out of range, the arrow will disappear, but if you move close to it again it comes back. So if you see someone Call for Help, your options are to check the radar, try /target <nameofpersonCallingforHelp> and see if those pick up anything.
Otherwise, sorry, they're dead.

One other dumb question, anyone figure out what those green marker are for on the map? other then pointing out where the guy is to turn in your adventurer coupon. I dont see any use for them.
Uhhh... yeah, I think that's about it. I haven't really found a way to put other NPCs on that list, but then again, I haven't tried either.
