Nazis. Jesus Christ I can't wear a Naruto Forehead protect without the one principal giving me a hard time about it, but when I wear my Boom Headshot t-shirt from Pure Pwnage I have to leave it in her office. Seriously, I think that's taking the power trip thing a little far. She said my shirt was "scary". God, in the age of technology, you can't get away with wearing a shirt from a video game without frightening grandma.

laughing at this just doesn't seem to justify anything

edit: by "anything", i mean the sheer hilarity of this thread. this isn't a moral thing or anything

Yeah, I know it's stupid. But I'm pissed cuz all I have to wear now is a white t-shirt.

back im my hs if u were wearing someting the school didnt like u had to put your gym clothes on.

Speaking of which, to rebel a group of us would wear them inside out. So everyone was wearing dark green, but ours were bright gold... those were the days

You're not usually allowed to wear stuff on your head in school, such as a hat, why would a headband be any different? Don't the dudes in that show have a metal thing on the band? Schools don't like potential weapons. In my hs we couldn't bring cans of soda to school, and in fact we couldn't bring unmarked bottles for fear of kids bringing alcohol, but that's a whole separate issue.

Seriously my high school had 3 computers in the library and a "computer lab" that wasn't used for anything ever. Only the graphic arts lab had any number of somewhat decent comps and they were used for designing, not internet. I'm stumped here haha

I was really lucky. My high school had a computer engineering course, and a lab full of decent compaqs and a ton of old computers, computer parts, and old hardware companies had donated. We practiced putting computers together and building dual-boot 95/98 systems among other stuff. Best days of my high school were spent playing pirated copies of Castle Wolfenstein over the school's LAN while we ran a pirated, protected preview copy of Lord of the Rings on the overhead projector. The teacher? lol He kept to himself, but despite those glory days I learned so much about computers and networking.

When I was in high school, we had to wear uniforms. Green plaid, penny loafers, scratchy knit sweaters, and white button up shirts with a chipmunk embroidered on the left collar. and in the winter we had to walk up hill both ways in the snow, and we weren't allowed to wear anything warmer than our plaid knee length skirts and our scratchy sweaters. and if we froze to death then that was just too bad.
You kids today have it easy. *grumblegrumble*

I had a uniform as well until 6th form, thats where you go 16-18, then pretty much anything goes although I remember our director of studies giving an announcement once:

"Boys, nobody wants to see your armpit hair, so leave the vests at home kthx"

hawt

my high school spends a lot of money on computers, and they don't take good care of them. our network space and hdd space gets filled up with retarded kids that put 200gb of pics on their accounts. some kid last year flooded a chem lab and managed to destroy a whole computer lab on the floor below it.

then we have a bunch of laptops that students use for english essays. we're so lazy we don't even have to reserve the comp. lab and walk there anymore. my teacher is so old she doesn't even know how to use the right formatting for essays on the computer.

yes, catholic school for 11 years! it's sort of a big deal here, almost everyone I know spent some time at a catholic school, if not all the way thro. and when people here ask you "what school did you go to?" they want you to tell them your high school, not college.

If they didn't want us wearing what we feel like wearing, they'd make us wear uniforms. I'm thinking that I want to take my shirt to a dry cleaning service and send the principal the bill. I still haven't gotten it back yet, procrastination for the lose.

If you feel like wearing a "forehead protect" then you're probably more of a dork than me and somebody should smack the crap out of you.

My girlfriend wanted to so I did it to make her happy >.> She wore hers all day and noone said anything about it, but for me idk. It was the same lady for both things, and none of the other teachers seemed to mind. Weird...

If you can't see why someone wouldn't want you wearing a shirt that said "boom headshot" on it then you sir, are a goddamn moron.

I totally missed that in the original post because my brain got injured by "naruto forehead protect"

Sure use the girlfriend excuse to get out of being weaboo/waponese and enjoying a steaming pile of shit show like Naruto.

HS administrators always want to you to conform and dress according to their dress code. Some of it is seemingly without reason, too bad most of it is for good reason. Most of the dress code violations were girls not wearing enough clothing when I was in HS. When they got sent home to put on a longer skirt/shorts it greatly saddened me.
