Sad but true i don't ask for anything for x-mas because its less shopping for me to return the favor. :? Instead, i buy myself all the random crap i want. Anyone else like to treat themselves :roll:

Nah, just busted my ass the past 2 months and made tons of OT. Been gettin about 15 hrs every 2 weeks ot/weekend pay. I did good this year, and saved about 20k, so im gunna treat myself =D>

X-mas present to myself? An oil change?

Work hasn't been great to me. tonight I finally made decent money, but everything I make is basically going to my g/f. I wanna get her a nice watch, and there are a few shirts that caught my eyes that I think she would look super good in, and she could also wear to work.

Everyone else in my family can stfu and die. Except my bro, I'm getting him some Mystery Science Theater DVDs. Everyone else I know is getting Starbucks gifts cards.

End of November/beginning of December - I bought new couches, 50" 1080p DLP HDTV, several video games (Gears of War, FF3DS, Castlevania PoR, Zelda), random decorations for my house, and Ride Spi bindings.

Soon to come - new snowboard boots and a Wii.

What have I bought other people? lol almost nothing. I got my Mom a $400 Coach purse, and that's it so far. Last minute shopping ftw.

I bought myself a 2007 Honda Civic last week. Bought a 360 and Gears of War last month. I am such a consumer. I have almost bought all of my family's Christmas presents as well, can't wait til thats over.

How u like the DLP? I hear gears of war is crazy

And grats on the civic E. I loved the feel of the car but couldn't get over the new digital speedo. Plus they wern't goin for anything less then sticker

I like the digital speedometer actually, its kind of like a half-ass heads up display. I got it for 17,499 and MSRP is 18,155, so thats below sticker.

I really like the look of the new Civic, and the interior is nice too. I have yet to drive one.

I love the DLP man....I couldn't be more pleased with it. It has a "Game mode" so I have 0 video game lag (some DLP have problems with that), and it makes the picture look really good with games. I don't watch much TV at all. Just Discovery HD and movies. I want an HD DVD player bad.

My roommate is moving out of my house this month, so I'm gonna move all my gaming systems to it. I'm really excited to play in the living room all the time and not feel like a jerk :) . Playing GoW in HD is just unbelievable. It felt very realistic to me. It gave me a different kind of adrenaline rush when getting attacked by things. I didn't play much of it though. I stopped at the first berserker thingy because I died 4546231321 times. I had friends over for co-op and we got farther (co-op is a LOT more fun). I stopped playing after that because theres too many other games I like, and I'm not a fan of shooters really. I still suggest you buy it for your new TV. Lots of people love it.

I would need more disposable income to get the guitar related gear I really want. My Ibanez RG470DX, Peavy amps and digitech effects work just fine for now. I like humbucker type pickups more than single coil normally, and I would of course get a glued on or neck thru guitar next time. Bolt-ons are fine, just I miss my Les Paul in some ways so I have to get another or a suitable alternative eventually. I can't kid myself by thinking spending more money on a guitar or amps is going to make me play better. My current setup gets the job done just fine, I don't see modifying it as a necessity unless I start to make money off of music somehow.
