Taken from Aeges from the Fate-Sealer site:

"Normaly I am not a person to give to charities, or post this, but since I found it and its practicaly free, thought Id pass it on.

Light a candle……..
Today, Bristol-Myers Squibb, the pharmaceutical monolith that charges
nearly $1,000 for a 30 day supply of one of its HIV/AIDS medications,
is donating $1 to the National AIDS Fund for each person who simply
visits their website and "virtually lights a candle."

I did it took like 10 seconds and I think it's for a good cause and I felt good doing it, no forms, no email info, just clicky, light the candle and done!

Since I like to think that they will really give just because I did what I did then I advise others to please do it also.

Mikey I'm counting on you to buddy!

post below if you did it or why you didn't :p

It's actually pretty nice of them to do it . If each person in the US signed up, they'd have to pay up 300mil lol. I'm sure they have a limit cap on how much they're actually willing to donate. Considering its up to 1.8 million right now haha

$1,000 for a 30 day supply of medications isn't alot.... lol. Talk to people with heart conditions and ask them what they spend. Its also part of business ethics to help benifit society somehow. If you can make your business look good while doing it, props. I lit my candle ^^

1,000 dollars for a 30 day medication is a fortune to most in Africa. Way to be totally culturally insensitive lol

if you read the fine print at the top, it says something like "thank you for the overwhelming response, we will honor our commitment by donating $100,000 to the Aids Fund."

I think that's all they're donating.

No. I don't think these types of things are. Same with "turn in your yogurt lids for breast cancer" donations.
