aRLAnia type post omfg 
I kinda liked the first movie, kinda, i do. Cept a couple of things that bugged me like, Dr doom did not have lighting powers in the comics, and the thing look too small and a bit cheesey. Also in case some of you haven't finished buying stuff. Best buy is selling viva pinata for 29.99$ the regular price is 49.99 which is pretty awesome. And you can order it online. |

Yeah I saw that shit. Kinda mixed feelings. They made Dr. Doom a part of the whole space accident thing that gave the Fantastic Four their powers, which is wrong. He gets his power from the damn suit lol. I wonder if they are going to bother with the Herald of Galacticus shit backstory for Silver Surfer or come up with something even lamer. |

Is that the same image as this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Silv ... daykb5.jpg cause I cant see the link above. Anyway, Ill comment on the image i linked because it probably is the same. The image is pretty cool looking. Yeah hes probably going to end up looking like the T2 liquid metal robot guy. The T1000 or something. When I first read about Silver Surfer I thought he was more of a brushed metal. That he was super shiny and reflective, but not like a mirror, more like a super shiny grey car that still reflects images. When I saw Terminator 2 and they had the T1000 walking out of the fire in full liquid metal I instantly thought "Silver Surfer" and from then on I always imagined the Silver Surfer to be more mirror like. Still, id like to see them make him look very human. Like he was a human dipped in metal. Would be cool to see his veins and stuff too. I like how much muscle detail is in that face though. Im happy so far, however thats just based strickly on character image. Who knows how they are going to warp the actual mythos. |
