ya know, that would be a bit of trouble but it just might work, but I have a better idea if it could be done somehow:
a visual recognition system coupled with a quick yes/no questionair that people have to fill out, say something at the top like "The answer to question #5 is yes if you wanna be a member." (Note: It doesn't matter if the question is true or not.) And make it so it randomly changes the approval question per refresh (example, next time, the answer to question #3 is yes if you want to become a member.) It would be an alternate or secondary visual recognition system but not sure how you would implement it in a webpage since I know nothing about websites but I know it could be done. It may not get rid of every bot or jackass signup but it would limit them greatly I'm thinking.
