Never again will you fall in love with a manthra :p http://www.bookblog.net/gender/genie.html j/k but it was interesting since I took a few articles and it seemed spot on with every author's gender. I took a Rolling Stones article, a CNN article, a Netscape blog and a few others for the heck of it and it got them all right since the author's names were identifiable male/female names. It was fun to play with. Of course, it's not exactly perfect. Try it yourself but try large blogs/articles consisting of 500 words or more since I tried a few with less than wording and it seems to fail then :p example: since the above post is only 94 words I am recoginized as a female blogger >.< |

unsure of your question Armani, the link diagnoses people's writing and determines their gender based on their writing, just drop a paragraph in it and follow the directions. |

I think that thing is a load, I took an old blog entry I made, and some of what it listed as "feminine" keywords were suprising. Some examples include "if", "be" and mother flucking "and" of all things. Those are pretty goddamn common words if you ask me, "and" especially. It rated me as female, which I am most certain I am not Edit: Even the above post listed me as female :x Though I can understand that, since I deliberately used "feminine words" |
