This guy built a mockup of the star trek bridge. Its scary, but the guy did an amazing job and even if Im not a fan of star trek, I still respect that this guy did a wicked job lol.

But really, hes got way too much time on his hands...

Something about that is cool

Not too big on the seats and the whole star trek vibe but...

I'm digging the windows and how being in
a room like that would make you feel like
you were in space. Now if those windows
were animated and the stars were all
animated and actually twinkled and moved
in different speeds to make it seem like
the room is moving
(cruising, warp drive, turning the ship, etc.)
then that would be like the
coolest fucking theater ever!

Only thing I'd question is the lit panels on the side of the screen. Sure they look cool, but they might be annoying/distracting when you're actually trying to watch something on the screen. Hopefully they dim down, or at the very least are functional controls for the entertainment system ( although I am sure there's a universal remote involved somewhere its mad props to be able to touch your lit up panel and change the settings.

with X-10 support they could control lights and electrical sockets. I had a bunch of X-10 stuff for a while (my old computer store had a rep show up and give us a bunch of stuff to play with) and it was pretty cool, but too buggy.

That is so bad ass. I'm not even a Star Trek fan, and I would love to have that as my movie room.
