One of the many disadvantages of campus networks. 
Ugh, blast this Scottish University. Damn this proxy, haha I'm going to have to actually work to subside my boredom. I'm probably going to be a master of minesweeper or a regular spammer by the end of May. |

Its not like this on all college campuses. This is actually the only one I've seen that uses an authentication based proxy, its really annoying. My university back in the states just blocks a range of ports that use remote accessing software like remote desktop and stuff. |

In the SUB at the community college I'm taking classes at there are a lot of ports blocked and so we get latencies in the 2000s on WoW. |
