Who would you be... For some reason this subject came up from all the new comic book movies that are coming out. My friend replied he'd go with Venom. I chose Apocalypse. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apocalypse_%28comics%29 ^^ |

If there's a lazy unmotivated supervillain who occasionally forgets why he's trying to take over the world, that's my guy. |

Its hard to choose just one. I think Id probably go with Mysterio. I picked Mysterio as my favorite Villian because he usually is involved in really interesting story arcs that involve a lot of deception and twists. At least I liked the original Mysterio (Quentin Beck). The Stan Lee\Steve Ditko version is the best. ![]() |

He's not really a villian. More of a victim of cirumstance. |

If we're talking just powers, I'd probably go with Apocalypse. But in terms of powers + coolness/personality, I've always liked: ![]() |

Yeah Magneto, hand's down. He's only a villian sometimes though. The oldness would suck a little. Though in the comics he's a jacked old-dude alot of the time. |

ehh, I thought McKellen did an okay job for an old saggy-skin, small body kind of magneto (the dialogue and acting were good), but I prefer the younger, tougher looking Magneto: ![]() ![]() compared to: ![]() |

well, do any of the movie's portrayel look identical to comics? ofcourse not, they had to make it viable for a realistic today's world lol and I think magneto was awsome I think the armor looks kinda plain but it matches the real world more than the comic funky shit lol ![]() ![]() |

There's three portrayals of Magneto in the comics and no one really agrees on which version is the real one. We've got the anti-hero who is seeking vengeance on behalf of all the mutants that have been persecuted and has a link to the Jewish Holocaust. Then we have the one that is an evil dinosaur that wants to destroy for the sake of destroying and is kinda stupid. And finally we have the one that is just misunderstood and is trying to change the world for the better, and wishes that Xavier's dream would be realized, but he cannot commit to it himself. The first one is the most popular among fans, the other two are written by Grant Morrison and B.M. Bendis respectively. They just need to get him right and stay consistent. And he's cool. |
