Sorry, I think that if you walked in expecting it to be good, you wasted 10 bucks. However, I knew it would be terrible, and laughed for most of the movie.

"It's like a gravy train with biscuit wheels!"

Best line ever.

Nic WROTE part of the movie. The helicopter scene? Ya. That's him.

He's been wanting to be in a super hero movie for ages. You know his name, Nicholas CAGE? He took the Cage part from Luke Cage, fucking Power Man.

I expect it to be terrible, and i came back thinking it was O.K.A.Y

It was still bad by all means. Black heart didn't convince me he was evil, and ghostrider looked too broad shoulderish for my tastes. The special effects where nice, but other than that. Um the movie was pretty terrible, and the acting was equally as terrible.

blackheart just pisses me off, really with the CG's we have today, it could have been so sick.

And I do have quite a bit of respect for him because of that. I also liked him a lot after I saw him in Adeptation.

He's a great actor. Most of the time. Mikey hit the nail on the head. Special effects were cool, mostly. Minus that gay wind fuck. But the rest was so bad it was funny.

I don't really like nicolas cage and he always puts on this retard "hay ahm from thuh south" accent for random roles. However I did like National Treasure but that had Sean Bean and a good story.

I don't know how anyone would think this movie was supposed to be taken seriously. I just watched it and it was pretty obvious that it was intended to be campy. If you thought it was supposed to be serious and have a complex plot and teach moral lessons, then you just can't see the original intention of the makers of the movie. It was supposed to be big, dumb and action oriented. It was like listening to Iced Earth or Dragonforce almost haha. Total cheese and camp, I laughed many times during the movie.

I just saw it, worst movie ever. The best part of the night was the anti drug ad at the start. Dude was with his girl on a bench smokin a fatty. An alien lands and steals his girl. I never laughed so hard...

Don't see this movie. Pool your $ and buy The Departed... or Anchorman

And sorry to derail but thoughts on the new Spiderman 3?

Yeah I laughed when he only spent a second looking at his best friend dead on the floor lol. It was Escape from New York kinda bad. The giving the cops the middle finger while raising up out of the water was pretty ridiculously stupid as well. The acting was pure camp and seemingly meant to be shitty, Nicholas Cage knew it obviously with his Elvis channeling. Blackheart and the other demons were just retarded and Mephisto wasn't too great either (even though it was Peter Fonda). They could have done more with the special effects in that department. The whole budget was spent on Ghost Rider and his bike. The movie was about as stupid as the comic book, which I expected anyways. If they thought they were making a good movie while shooting this, then they should all be banished from Hollywood forever.

Spiderman 3 looks like crap, and it is going to take itself seriously like the others did. Sandman getting his face pushed into a train wtf? He can turn himself into sand to avoid injury the rest the movie but he lets Spidey push his face into a train for dramatic effect lol. We all know you need water to really defeat Sandman... and the earth is full of water lol. Venom won't be in much of the movie and will be saved for the end to make people see Spiderman 4. Green Goblin will be a miserable failure like he was in the first movie even though its another actor in the power rangers suit. Really the other 2 movies were overrated and the fact that they took themselves semi seriously compounded the problem. Not enough witty shit talking quips from Spiderman in the fights. Machine is smart enough to control its own creator's brain (Doc Oc)? Gimme a fucking break he was bad to begin with not some decent guy controlled by a machine. Comics aren't supposed to have a hint of realism anyway.. it isn't our universe.

The Fantastic Four movie looks stupid as hell also. But the first one was stupid and I didn't know if it was really trying to be totally serious either (which makes it even worse). They ruined Dr. Doom and now they aren't going to do Silver Surfer right either. Where is Galactus?.... they obviously won't have the special effects to do that shit right. It will be interesting in how they portray the Power Cosmic if they even really do it at all (giant blasts of power shooting from his fists lol).

Was Batman Begins the only good super hero movie ever made? I am starting to think so... the Xmen movies have become shittier and shittier the more times I watch them, I regret thinking they were good. Especially the last one, good god it is horrible. Superman Returns was mediocre and could have been better and the originals were pure camp and cheese, but they weren't supposed to be (which again makes them worse). They didn't stand the test of time too well.

I am looking forward to 300. Thats about it. Frank Miller should have written the Daredevil movie and gotten an unknown actor to portray him (Ben Aflec is a turd). Sin City was a great comic movie, Hellboy wasn't bad either and has a sequel coming out.

Dunno, I really dug Superman Returns. Though the action was lacking.

Spider-Man 3 isn't going to focus on Venom at all. In fact, Venom will probably only be in for 15 minutes and never be seen again. Spider-Man, the Brian Singer X-Men movies, Hellboy were all pretty good.

Hellboy 2 should be very interesting because Guilermo del Toro's other movie, Pan's Labyrinth, won at the oscars and he'll probably be able to do more than he could previously. People kinda liked the first Blade movie. I didn't see it, because Blade sucks.

Oh, and traditionally, super hero movies are bad. But comic book movies aren't. American Splendor and Road to Perdition are two that come to mind quickly before I run out the door to class that were really good. Ghost World too, y'know a bunch of them.

Superman having a kid with a human woman is impossible. What he would need to do to get off would kill her, nevermind what him blowing his load would do. Lois Lane would die getting pounded by Supes. The comics aren't that graphic but it is stated that a woman could never bear Superman's child. Her taking the kid to the boat of Lex Luthor was fucking retarded as well, but very typical of Lois Lane I guess.

Blade was ok, but not much like the comic... because if it was it would have been retarded obviously. Spawn was a steaming pile. I already said they would have Venom in for only the end of Spiderman 3.... just a teaser for 4. The Spiderman movies are fucking overrated as hell anyways.

The Brian Singer X-Men movies are ok, but I see little reason to do the heroes in the order that they did as far as being original X-Men. Why use Toad at all as a villian? Why the fuck did they make Iceman such a bitch ass? Why isn't Wolverine more of a vicious animalistic killer type at the start who has to be gradually toned down and civilized? Him sparing the lives of people in the first movie was stupid. Finally kills someone in the second film. Without him killing people, his badass act is just that.. an act.

I haven't seen the other comic book movies you mentioned. I heard Road to Perdition was good from several people, might rent that eventually.
