Usually threads I start are short-lived not to mention few and far between. But I do flip through these forums enough, and I was curious; What games or hobbies are people involved with now after playing FFXI? Since most of the population of this forum don't really play that much anymore I was wonder what new game takes up your time? You playing WoW now? Waiting for some new MMO to come out? Consol games? Enjoying RL? Was just curious, and I do need a new time sink while I'm between jobs at the moment. |

The game natural selection. http://www.unknownworlds.com Its an alien vs marine mod for HL. I've been playing for years now and its a nice alternative to cs:s. And no joke i just cashed out of Second Life for 69$ I made as a stripper. |

Ive been getting into comics in a big way. I had started to read comics a while ago, but reinheld really got me into them again by helping me figure out what titles to pick up and what not. Now Im reading pretty much every mainstream marvel comic lol. I buy probably 4-5 comics a week (about 20 bucks a week worth). Also, sunshine and I love TV lol. We have shows lined up every night of the week... er almost everynight. Recently we got into downloading TV shows and watching them on DVD. We are just getting into Arrested Development now (4 episodes in). We also downloaded lots of American Dad (Totally underrated show, i like it far more than Family Guy) and Scrubs. Both shows we download. Right now my list would be like this (listed by importance) 1) Sunshine 2) Comic Books 3) New TV shows 4) Downloaded shows 5) WoW\Xbox 360 |

Music Disc Golf RL Friends Forum trolling It's kinda strange, not many games hold my interest anymore, then again I don't own an XBox 360 or Wii or anything either. Since figuring Pro-Tools, record label stuff, website stuff, I'd say music is my job but it's also my love. Win/win |

it's amazing how different life is when you aren't playing MMOs. Some people I know are really addicted to WOW and it's sorta sad cause I know that place and it wasn't a good one. Mostly I'm trying to graduate, fall... fall! hopefully. Then back to school. Other than that basically work, 2 jobs now... fabric store and a head shop, and then arts and crafts and music and drugs and trying to get over post tramaic stress. Been trying to push myself back into art, and that's interesting cause it was absent from my life for so long. OH! and renting a beach house in flordia in july! Really getting hyped about that. |

im pretty busy with work, CSI, and the weekend longboarding sessions, i also find myself at random peoples houses late at night having a good time. i play ffxi when i dont have anywhere to go. |

I have finally finished Teacher's College (as of May 31) and I actually graduate on June 22. It has taken up my time since September. Now I'm on the hunt for a full time teaching job. In terms of stuff that I'm into, Yarr is my number one priority, and hanging out with him is what I do and love most! We love our TV and I've been hooked on the show Arrested Development. Although as per a discussion we had in the car, I've come to the conclusion that I need a hobby to keep myself from going insane!!! lol |

Most of the weekdays: Work > Gym > Home (i try to fit playing Rf Online, Eve Online, Rakion, Last Chaos, Battlefield and my console emulated games such as but not limited to FFX, Legend of the Dragoon, FF8, FF9, Xenogears and Legend of Mana). My girlfriend is over my house now 3-4/7 days of the week but she plays games too. The TV is always on from when i get home from work, to when i go to sleep, it's usually on spike where all the csi is playing. Sometimes i'm too tired to even play a game so when i get home from the gym i just pass out. Weekends: Spend time with friends/girlfriend > Club/Party/BBQ or some restaurant. |

Work, drinking/smoking w/ friends, playing guitar, listening to music, riding bikes w/ people, internet surfing/forum trolling, playing games, movies, using the spa, TV, drawing, reading tech magazines, lifting weights, shooting airsoft guns at shit. Those are pretty much in order. TV would be higher if the NFL season was going on. I didn't watch as much of the NHL or NBA playoffs as usual. I am supposed to take a trip to Kentucky to visit a old HS friend there either by car or plane sometime within the next month (forget lol). Also supposed to be learning all the songs on bass now that our bassist is headed back to Iraq (Marines). |

School took the place of FFXI for me. I haven't been able to find a game I enjoy as much, since. Dragon Quest 8 was great but I finished it in a few weeks. Oblivion, Radiata Stories, and Neverwinter Nights 2 are good to a lesser degree, but also won't be games I dive into like FFXI. No school this summer = not sure what I'm going to do. Of course I hang out with friends and do random fun stuff. But for video games I'm at a low point. BTW I shaved my head.

There isn't really any possible way for me to play FFXI again like I used to. In between online courses, work, family, friends, and girlfriend this summer I can snag at most a couple of hours a day or more if I lose sleep. |
