Yarr and I have really been enjoying the last several seasons of South Park. I'll admit that I hated it when it first started airing on TV, but as the style of the show shifted and changed, I started loving it! We just picked up season 10 and it's hilarious....so the contract extension is great news! PerezHilton.com wrote: Expect to see Cartman and friends on TV at least through 2011!
South Park creators have just extended their deal with Comedy Central for another three years. How much are they getting paid? $75 MILLION!!!! Under the new deal, Parker and Stone will also create South Park Digital Studios, which will oversee South Park’s production and also create new projects. Of the new deal, Stone said: “Three more years of ‘South Park’ will give us the opportunity to offend that many more people. And since Trey and I are in charge of the digital side of South Park, we can offend people on their cell phones, game consoles, and computers too. It’s all very exciting for us.” Exciting indeed! And, perhaps inspired by the success of The Simpsons movie, maybe Trey and Matt might come out with a second South Park movie. That’d be super exciting! |

What? South Park has continued to get better and better as time went on. Cartoon Wars 1&2 were awesome, the Smug episode was amazing and the list goes on and on. Not every episode of south park makes me piss myself, but its got a much higher percentage of A+ shows than almost anything else on TV. South Park > American Dad > South Park > Family Guy > Simpson |

You realize Cartoon Wars and Smug Alert were from the season before last and originally aired over a year ago? |

Southpark is awesome. It's still funny as shit. Simpsons is the show that's not funny anymore (new episodes). |

Been a long, great run, getting time to retire it. Remeber watching the first Christmas ep in the 4th grade. I though the movie should have been the last new thing they put out. |

i pretty much always hate when people announce when someone or something should retire or is getting old or is no longer funny or whatever. people like that cause pressure on artists that ends up preventing good future material from ever reaching me. so maybe new material doesn't make you cum on the spot, so what, someone out there might like it, and thats enough. |

I lost intrest in SP a while ago, but then i saw the warcraft episode on youtube, and i picked up season 10 set just for it, and i have watched all the episodes and i liked them all, i laughed so hard i died faster than steve irwin in a tank full of devil rays. |

I think that seasons 5-9 are by far the best. Definitely some of the funniest television I've ever seen. I hate Cartman's new voice and the plots seem too convoluted now adays. Like D'Yikes! for example. That was about Mrs Garrison become a lesbian (that's a good character and not every one of his plotlines have to be about sexuality) and suddenly it turned into a 300 parody. (Although the like "Ohhh yeah, Scissor Me Timbers!" almost completely made up for all of its shortcomings) |

I actually dont mind the new style to cartmans voice, all the voices have changed since the first few seasons. Im happy with everyone's voice now. |

I love the "Smug" episode in season 10...my favourite part is when they compliment each other on their hybrid cars and say "good for you!" and the other person replies with "THANKS" in a hilarious voice. I say it all the time now! lol |
