no one should get upset about us killing iraqi civilians when their civilians initiate guerilla warfare and commonly shoot at our soldiers. they can't complain if that's their strategy. |

they can't complain if that's their strategy. These people are angry at us for what we did to their country though. I mean we destroyed everything that made them a society. And now they're doing everything in their power to try to get us to leave. I don't blame them entirely. Remember I don't blame them entirely, but they are at fault for whats going on, it almost seems like they'd rather live in a lawless state than to have anyone tell em what to do. Whom I do blame entirely for are the people who drove us to this war in the first place. This war wasnt about human rights, Bush doesn't care about black people, and nor does he care about Human rights lol. This was more of a war about Oil than anything else. And considering how prices on oil keep going up. Do not be surprised to expect more to come Water shortages and shortages on basic necessary resources have always brought war eventually along with them. Its how we roll apparently. |

americans forget that we gave Iraq teh weapons they have now to fight us with 15 years ago, when they needed out help to defend themselves. Collectivly has a country we need to shut the fuck up about what every other nation in the world is doin and bear the fuck down with some national pride in our own backyard. Lets defend the homeless in Iraq and send them millions of punds of food while our underpriviladged starve, Free Sri Lanka when New Orleans is still a shit infested mudhole, invade Iran beacuse were bored with Iraq as our health systems crumbles, Spend millions to make Darfur a safer place at the same time schools across the nation have to make cuts to essential programs. not all equal comparisons but you get the idea. America used to be in a postion to help the entire world when they needed it, now its just become expected. The problems with the social infrastructre are far greater now then they ever have been. im just tired of watching our nation give everyone else hand relief, becuase now we need a little ourselves. |

and btw this country is headed for a huge shitstorm if the ban smoking in someones own home, i dont smoke at all, but we all know how prohibition ended up and what probelms there were because of it. Here we go, down that same road once again. More and more its becoming increasingly obvious that the Constituition doesnt mean shit anymore. |

I'm in total agreement that instead of catering to other countries we need to focus on our fucking own! I mean we can send tons of money to Iraq but we can't support something that helps with our own country with children's healthcare? If our country really was all about supporting the troops then don't you think their own payscale and wages would have gone up? Have they? We're only lining the pockets of politicians. Part of me thinks the executive branch needs to be investigated as to how much certain individuals and their contituents have profited from this war (profiteering). Last I checked, mismanagement of money of this scale is, in fact, a crime. Perhaps a few accounts should looked at rather closely, be freezed, seized, and/or confiscated back into the good ole U.S. of A while a few charges need to be brought up! |

i'm completely against the war in iraq. i just think it's really lame that a country will throw their civilians into battle, and then call foul when they are killed or unarmed civilians are killed. they have no right to call foul on that, that's all i'm saying. they can call foul on a myriad of other things. i had a friend who went to iraq. she didn't agree with the war either. but she went, and she was shot at by civilians over there. even iraqi children shot at her. they're fucking nuts. religious zealots. people who disregard any consequences other than the illusion of an afterlife.... |

I honestly wish the war never happened. I don't think they ever had the balls to fuck with us...and that's all we should fucking care about. Iraq didn't claim responsibility for 9/11 nor do I believe Saddam and his people were behind it. Yet the majority of Iraq war supporters truely think that's the reason we are over there. I can't tell you how many dumb fucking people I've heard say that. Why are we over there? Bush :Disarm your WMD Saddam: We have nothing to disarm Bush: you are lying I'm sending the UN to check it out UN: We found nothing, we are leaving Bush: they are still lying and we have intelligence that says you had a hand in 9/11, I'm sending hundreds of thousands of troops over there and initiating a war to remove you from power...because I am a power hungry whore. Have we found those WMD we started the war over? haha. |

yawn, wasn't this discussion a like a few years ago? its old, and dumb to even bother to debate or discuss Iraq. People have their opinnions about Iraq now, and won't even change their mind or see the opposistion. All I will say is, sit down and talk to soldiers and here their story. They are the only ones imo that can even comment on whats going on over there. And from who I have talked to, it sucks over there, yes civilians shoot at our soldiers, but umm wouldn't you do the same if we were invaded? Mikey you say that we are doing nothing to help their infrastructure. My neighbor is a Civil Engineer w/ the Air Force, and so far has done 4 tours. He has built 3 schools in areas of Iraq that never had never had schools before, and also helped build water treatment centers for areas that never had clean fresh running water. Sadly this is what we don't hear about because the media doesn't want us know everything that is happening over there. They want what will make them more money |

yawn? i wasn't trying to debate the war i just wanted to rant that it's an unfortunate and common situation that an american is investigated and punished because he/she can't differentiate a harmless iraqi civilian from a jihad lunatic from a proud defender of the iraqi homeland. no one can differentiate intentions, not even the iraqis. anytime you deal with people who would drive up to you and then explode their guts and bomb shrapnel into your face, you have to be on your toes and don't second guess yourself. it's not an excuse to kill civilians, but it is going to happen. it's unavoidable given the situation. that's not saying we have any right to be over there. that's not saying we are taking the right approach to middle east peace, world peace, mending our reputation, or treating people like they should be treated. it's just a rant about guerilla warfare and the media in general, as it relates to any war. there, i changed the title so no panties get bunched up ;p |

Look on the bright side, all our troops will be out of Iraq when their oil runs out. Most of the Middle East will become the worlds dump when that happens. |

Well, hopefully some of the nations have the foresight to convert to nuclear energy so their infrastructure won't collapse when the oil dries up. Oh wait-- |

I had this dream that there was a lady going around finding men and luring them back to this studio that looked like a garage woodshop. When she got there she'd seduce them then somehow render them unconscious. While unconscious, she painted them purple and took pictures of them for perfume advertisements. When that was done she had these weird potato-sack-wearing cronies kill the unconscious purple men with rotary saws. Her lips were soft but covered in sand. At some point I ran into my oldest sister's high school boyfriend while I was looking at porno on a dashboard mounted computer screen in the car at a shopping center's parking lot. So I chitchat with him and some girl he's with bites my hair. Meanwhile on top of all this, the sun was getting ready to implode. It did not. The end. |
