I'm selling my RSX in January, saving money, getting a big bonus in March (from work), and buying this when it comes out in spring. I'm gonna get the 135i twin turbo 300 hp 300 tq one (same motor as 335i). Pure sex.

I'm already on the waiting list at Scottsdale BMW lol.

I learned about something cool they do...

I configure the car I want at the dealership here, get the payment and financing stuff straightened out, they arrange a trip for me to fly to germany and pick up the exact car I had built, and they knock a decent % off the car price (for buying there) which balances it out (free vacation).

You pick it up from the factory, drive it on the autobahn, drive all around germany, then drive it to the dock to ship to USA...and don't pay any custom taxes or anything. Insurance is free also while there. I guess it's a big thing. Several people I know did it. I'm doing that shit!

Kluya that is exactly what my father did with his 550i and it is so worth it. The European Delivery program is what it is called by BMW I think, and Mercedes does the same thing though their % discount is different. The shipping was free and driving on the autobahn was great, makes US highways look like shit in comparison. It was awesome getting passed by a Porsche while I was going 140+ mph myself, he must have been going 160+ by how fast he disappeared ahead of me.

I am highly biased towards German automobiles though haha.

That sounds insane Klu lol. You'll definitely have to take me for a ride when you get it. That'll be around the same time you move to New York right? Just enter the Gumball and kick some arse

Dude that Germany thing sold me so much more! It sounds sooo cool! It's cool you and your Dad did it. I was thinking about buying a 335i before the 1 series got announced with the same motor for less $$ and less weight. I'm gonna set everything up in march. I will have a good sized down payment by then and won't have to finance much (about the same I financed for my current car).

I am not gonna live in NY haha. I'd like to but it's too expensive for me. I wouldn't be able to travel or own a car anymore. Those are my 2 favorite things in life.

Instead I'm going there to visit every 3 months or so. I have a free place to stay...works for me haha. Jet Blue rountrip nonstop from AZ is $300ish. Every 5th flight is free. Not bad.
