When I first started working out I had trouble with pushing the clutch in on my truck (it's not a soft clutch). My legs would shake and tighten up. I know what you mean about that.

Sorry to hear about this. Atleast you didn't get too hurt.

next time that happens, use the clutch to stop it or turn key off on engine and other is on All Auto trans there is safety that you can push out of D to N without pushing button or pulling stick. Thats how I would stop the car if that happen.

it is very unwise to run for that long so soon. start w/ 30min for 2 weeks, then 40, then 50, then an hour. Its taken me 4 months to get to 16 miles

I hate running because I'm a smoker lol (pack a day of cigarettes and random weeeed). I just do weights at the gym. I walk/hike a near by mountain for cardio.

Running is never fun. I've never smoked in my life (except Hookah a handful of times) and I'm a skinny dude. I've run all my life. I run in frisbee 3 times a week, I basically do wind sprints for 4 hours 5 times a week at work, and I did track in high school. Sure it's nice once you get up to the 15 or 16 mile mark where you can run cross-town and just basically take some time off of your day and enjoy life. But physically... not matter how in shape I am, running always sucks, always hurts.

That sucks, though dude. Do you do a cool down routine? You should definitely stretch and maybe do some walking before going and doing anything important (even driving). In track after some meets my legs would do the same things, just hurt like shit and spasm and feel like they weren't even my legs. you just gotta try to work the lactic acid out of them.

THAT'LL TEACH YOU TO GET IN SHAPE!

But yeah, that blows. Keep at the fitness, but make sure you stretch.

Beat to it :(

What I do at the gym is run first and then do the cool down/stretches part, and lift or just go depending on how I'm feeling. I'm usually able to drive after that.
