1. Coheed and Cambria - No World for Tomorrow 2. Down - Over the Under 3. Nine Inch Nails - Year Zero 4. Eddie Vedder - Into the Wild 5. Dream Theater - Systematic Chaos 6. Bjork - Volta 7. Silverchair - Young Modern 8. Megadeth - United Abominations 9. The Smashing Pumpkins - Zeitgeist This was a good year for music, for me at least. Next year I'm looking foward to new albums from Fear Factory, Mudvayne, Metallica, and Days of the New. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. |

Nothing. I haven't really been impressed with anything I have heard this year. Maybe when I look back I will find something, but the stuff I have heard has been nothing special. |

Cool i'll check some of those albums. I never listen to the radio or watch MTV. I never buy CDs or anything either. I've been listening to old crap all year. I need something new that I like... |

After the one incident at a White Stripes show, I was surprised to hear they came out with a new album, and great one at that, so I'm going with Icky Thump. |

Always a huge pot head crowd at their Chicago shows lol One of my friends is really into the whole alchemy index thing. I find it pretty laughable and stupid because it's so linear and contrived. I mean, the fact that they did what they did is literally the DEFINITION of a contrived effort. I thought that Water was especially bad because it was everything that the band isn't and it felt like someone messing with synthesizers and Cubase. |
