oh god this screenshot is meaningful to me. this is a career highlight for ultimaj in ffxi. me and mikey were the catalysts for the carebears LS. we were a terroristic organization hellbent on training the shit out of everyone and everything. i'm pretty sure some people were temp banned because of our escapades in crawler's nest and boyahda tree. i specifically remember seeing a tarutaru named PICKLES yell "OH SHIT" right before she/he was obliterated by an army of crawlers. sadly this is the only screenshot i have, i had made a video of it but i don't think i ever found a host and it's not on my hard-drive anymore.

Actully Mikey was just on the side doing random things and the odd Cure. I would want him in party to get at least some XP or to talk. I had to convince him most the time. He was always selfess with me.

I don't remember Crim ever being in CKD, lol but then again that would of been a shit long time ago so i probably don't remember much of anything lol.

Edit: yeah I see Zadan and emerlin in that picture, so that must of been before I even hit 75 with smn

Here's the first alliance of all NA players to kill Fafnir. I dont think any NA players had killed or even fought Fafnir before this. Although CKD did once have Fafnir spawn ontop of us before we were ready and he killed everyone lol. We had never even seen Fafnir before.

When I first started Talisin and I always grouped together. We only joined groups that needed us, but then it was easy getting a group since Tal was a Warrior and I was a White Mage.

This was the first NA alliance I started. We finished the quest.

Some of the people who knew me from the start will remember how much I loved farming NMs in the Grotto. Ashmaker was my favorite. I always though the Orcs were so awesome and I always loved that zone. I also managed to make way more gil than everyone farming the NMs.

So here's my favorite NM in the game.

God damn thats oldschool Yarr lol, I wish I could have played FFXI at the PC release to have been able to start with the server's old oldschool population, but I didn't have a PC then so I had to start at ps2 release :/

No I never even applied to CKD because I always managed to be in the linkshell who was currently Butting Heads with CKD in regards to NM camping ect (( Sentinels, then Monarchy, ect )), so for most of the time I played ffxi I disliked CKD, because I was always in the linkshell that they hated lol, so Im sure alot of CKD disliked me too.

Ofcourse once you stop playing the game all that kind of fades and I love everyone here now except ponuh.

but thats why I didn't remember crim being in CKD, because I remember him in monarchy with me, but those screenshots would of been from way before that time

edit: and man screenshots are bringing back memories, FFXI really did have such a strong sense of community, with freidns, LS quarrels and server LS competition, no other game I've played really had that type of community. when I played WoW I couldnt tell you the name of anyone particular outside of my guild, but in ffxi alot of people would generally recognize most of the NA community

Its a shame FFxi had such shit for pvp and the long ass grind for anything and the really unacceptable exp loss apon death, or I might still be playing it lol.

Crimsonsan was cool. One of my first times in Dynamis (with Monarchy) they made me pull the final statue in SanDoria and I was so scared. He was cool and calm with me even though I was a noob and walked me through it. I totally fucked it up and he somehow got it off my corpse and finished the pull. Afterwards he talked to me for a bit in /tell and made me feel better.

I was wondering wtf I was doing fighting the Dymais Lord with a sword as a brd but I remembered. I was a Sam for the 1st death of the Dyamis lord. I F??king love my Sam and BST. Brd was just a convenience.
