Blizzard has been posting "teaser" images all week. Each day gives more clues. This is the best speculation for the Diablo III arguement (Below). I dont buy into it yet and even if they do announce Diablo III I hardly think we will see it any time soon. This is Blizzard after all, even with their millions and billions they cant seem to release a game on time. I always liked how Diablo II wasnt a game designed with graphics in mind first. I doubt Diablo III would still be like that.

They already announced Starcraft II and Wow:Wrath of the Lich King. Other people think they found clues in there that point to the artist who did most of the artwork for Diablo II |

New symbol added, and the ice has melted further from the original pic. Now two eyes appear to be staring out from the void: 
The top right ripple is most certainly the Hel rune from D2: 
People are saying the top left ripple is a rune from a sword in Warcraft, the "Frostmourne": 
The bottom left ripple is starcraft related. It's supposed to be a "Protoss" symbol. I guess that's unit in starcraft: 
The new rune (bottom right ripple) looks like a solar system, like planets, or "worlds". Possibly a World of Warcraft reference? I couldn't find any conclusive info on it yet. Supposedly we'll find out this weekend what it all means. |

Well Bilzzard has said this weekend they are announcing a NEW game. Not an expansion pack, not a release date, but a whole new game. That doesnt mean its D3. It just means that it could be. Still, I love when Blizzard gets the Hype maching rolling. |

Well the runes seem to perhaps imply a new franchise right? Diablo, Starcraft, Warcraft, World of Warcraft, _________. Also, it's been confirmed scores of times that Blizzard has been working on Warcraft 4 for quite some time now. Could be that. The blue color scheme seems to hint that it's diablo to me though, because every blizzard franchise uses a cool palette except for diablo, and using red would have given it away instantly. |

I was think that too but Yarr keeps saying they're going to also be announcing a new unannounced game. I don't keep up much with Blizzards news updates but I do hope its Diablo 3. I loved playing the second one but if it is D3 I can probably count out playing it anytime in the near future.
