Should I keep Vista or go back to XP? I just got a new comp, and don't wanna waste time installing and updating everything just to find out it won't run. |

Honestly, unless there is a game you desperately want to play in DX 10, XP sp2 is still the superior choice imo. That said if you're running vista and not having any problems or performance issues, its certainly functional, and you don't have to go back to XP. just my 2c. |

ok, i don't mind vista and don't feel like installing xp right now. if i come to a game that i cant get to run, i'll decide then. thanks for the input uh, when i try to run POL or FFXI config, it says the program stopped working. I'll try to get it to run, but if anyone knows a quick fix, I'd appreciate it. I have it set to run like XP service pack 2 and administrator. |

there's a specific vista launcher for playonline you have to download. can get through the playonline site. |

thanks a bunch. i would've been messing with config for a while before going to POL. ooook, POL is up, but FFXI config is still down lol. |
