I was coming home a few minutes ago in the bitter Minnesota winter and as I stepped onto the sidewalk in front of my house I happened across a solitary autumn leaf, floating on a miniscule tornado before me. I picked it up and took it inside with me, I don't know what I can possibly do with it or for it but bury it and hope it lives a good life as something else. In recent years, deep pacifism and care for helpless things has overtaken me. I don't know what happened or why I feel like this. I can't help a leaf that died 4 months ago, I can't explain to my mom's dog why I don't live nearby anymore, I can't tell my sneakers why I replaced them with boots...but I really want to and it pains me not to. lol Does this ever happen to anyone else, has it ever happened to anyone else? What the fuck? |

I feel extremely guilty that i traded my car in for a new one. I've personified it. Even though it cost me lots of grief and money over the years, I still check around car sale sights weekly to see if someone has taken it home...Although, I'm just denying the cold reality that it was in such poor condition it was merely scrapped or stripped for parts. That makes me incredibly sad. I keep lying to myself in my head that some teenage girl fell in love with it and took it home, I just wish I had closure that that was true. ....Then on top of this I feel guilty for my new car that I keep thinking about the old one and not it. So silly :p |

Not sure if pacifism is the correct word here but as I got older I got tired of all the assholes in the world and softened up a bit. I truly greet the people working in Wal-Mart and say goodbye to them. I held the door open for what seemed like an eternity in the cold weather for an elderly couple at a restaurant. Something in me now just generally wants to do some good and not be the urine in someone's oat meal; not for acceptance but just because it feels like the right thing to do. I mean don't get me wrong...I'm sure I can flip back into a bigger ass than what I once was...but now my personality is less razor blade and more like a switch blade. Hopefully that makes sense. As for the leaf thing...I'm not sure if I've done that exactly...maybe something similar. I have a box of papers my fifth grade wrote and worked on that I still can't bear to throw away yet. Part of me also secretly wonders if you bastards cooked this up on ventrilo and decided to have a few laughs at the responses people gave...but screw it here's mine. Spoiler: show |

A few people I'm CKD on ffxiv use vent, but I'm not sure what server it is. I see people mention vent discussions in linkshell but haven't seen it posted on these forums (unless I overlooked it) |
