50 minutes were added to the movie and a ton of specials were put in the extra DVDs (over three hours worth). Only bad news is that it doesn't come out until 12/14 ; ; |

WOOT!!!! i can hardly wait, a whole 50 more minutes. Ill probably have a LOTR weekend marathon session when i get this. |

For the life of me I cant get princess to sit down and watch any of these. Dispite knowing they are considered "good" movies she wont watch em. |

Hehe Yarr. I was able to get my gf to come see these in theaters  She likes the 1st and 3rd, but she didn't like the 2nd, go figures. It seems too much battle wasn't enough interest for her
Anyway, I am REALLY looking forward the the 3rd extended movie. I own the first 2, and the ext. version are soo much better and closer to the books than the theaters version. For thos of you who haven't the ext. yet, go rent them at least. It's worth every additionnal minute you'll sit watching the movies

haha, my wife watches them more than i do, she has a "Thing" for Vigo Mortensen which is ok cus i like Orlando bloom............I mean Liv Tyler  :D
