ok, who watched the debates, and what did you think?


i for one think this is an extremely important election and that every opinion counts.

I watched them. It made me think Pres. Bush is so much stupider then i ever thought possible. (He likes Poland too muchw...)

Bush never messed up, neither did Kerry(except when he mis-quoted Bush seconds after Bush spoke o_O).

Saying Bush is stupid is wrong, and outright ignorant. Bush held a fine debate and it's down to whose side your on. Both of them are right about certain topics.

Saying I have a choice is bullshit to begin with. Why are there only 2 people allowed on the debate? Why not all the candidates?

One of two men will become the next president in november. Yea, that's really a "choice".

There are actually other ppl on the ticket, of course they wont get voted in, but that could change if ppl actually took intrest and gave a shit and stopped being so damn complaicent (sp) ?Ever hear of the liberterian party, maybe you should look into them, they have some awesome ideals.. Anyways the debate established that both men are very good in debates but i have to say i think Bush edged out kerry on this one.

i was at work during debates, how did they go? honestly i think bush would be fine next year but i think i believe more in what kerry 'says' he will accomplish. sigh, hope we dont get ass fucked again by this so called 'peoples election'

Agree, You really dont have a choice' w/ 2 peoples opinion, just an "IDEA" of who you think is better.

I only remember one part where bush paused for like 5-7 seconds trying to finish his sentence and couldn't do it, and then they showed Kerry just looking so smug. Oh how I laughed.

I watched it and I didn't fall in asleep till almost very end. (That's amazing for me btw, I have absolutely no interests in politics).

However, I was surprised with Bush's performance. I think he did extremely well until he just kept repeating what Kerry said about the war was "wrong place, wrong time, wrong war". It was nice to hear it the first 2 times but after that it's like "hi, do you have anything better to say?"

As for Kerry, he side steps the questions most of the time. I meant I love to hear "I can do better than Bush this and that." However, he never directly answer when he was asked "how are you going to do that?" "what's your plan?" etc. He gave me a feeling that he just talk the talk but he can't walk the walk.

I heard on the radeo this morning that most of the Americans think Kerry did a good job. I don't know where the poll was conducted, but I really don't think Kerry did a good job on meeting the questions head on.
