funny though I thought it was made in 1998, not 1994. No wonder I never really saw the movie until it was being spammed on TV like crazy... I was only 13 at the time :P

I didn't konw about this movie until my english teacher made us see it as a homework. Man, this is one of my favorite movie. This is the kind of movie I could watch 100x.

I recommend it to everyone. It's definety worth seeing once at least.

yeah, I've watched it like 20 times and I'll keep watching it :P Just ask CKD... they're sick of hearing me talk about how it's on such and such a channel at whatever time :P

It's definitely one of my favorite movies. The acting, script, cinematography (especially at the end of the movie with Morgan Freeman walking in the field and such), etc. are all top notch in my opinion. One funny thing about the film is that it came from a really short story from Stephen King, and that the movie is supposedly better than the book (which is almost never the case).

I agree 100% with Kayne ! wOOt

This movie has 1 of the best ending ever made. In fact, this movie is perfect.

I know if I had to re-register to post again i wouldn't have bothered. I'm much to lazy for that kinda rigarmarole.

I loved Shawshank Redemption. Great storyline, Great acting, overall just a really good movie. If we're on the subject of best movies thou, the best one hands down is The Usual suspects. It's a movie you _have_ to watch twice to fully appreciate everything.
