Didn't feel like continuing the old post so....
After my ship left Sicily (4th frikin visit, time to move on jeez....) we headed to Malta. Anybody ever been there? Let me lay out a few things.
Drinking Age: 16 (NOT enforced)
Legal Age: 18 (you know what I mean)
Put those together with sailors equals a LOT of trouble.
Well, I am sitting in (surprise) a bar, just minding my own business when these two girls come up to me...we get to talking, and after a few drinks (they paid HAHAHAHA) they start getting VERY friendly with me. Now as most of you know I am married, and have children, so things are rather oncomfortable for me at this moment. *light bulb* "How old are you?"
"16" "17" (thankyou god, I have a way out of this without looking like a homo in front of my friends) "sorry, gotta run" Anyways, me and my friends end up going to a club....turns out it was 80's night. OMFG fun all night. Got to dance and drink for 9 hours...and only spent 12 Maltese Lira (about 30 USD) Malta = party capitol of Medditeranean, just make sure you check ID.



Left Malta, went back to greece.......most beer I have ever drank, so I can't remember a whole lot, but I know I finished off at least 3 boots.....

MM as cool as Malta is i think you will find that the honor of party capital of the Medditeranian and of the world goes to the island of Ibiza - Now that place is just outrageous. i dunno if you will get to dock there but check out all the clubs if you do, kinda off season right now though but may still be ok.
