so long as saiyaman keeps hosting raws, someone will be there to sub them. im not sure if narutofan will still share torrents to it, but i know animesuki wont as they dont host liscensed anime.

But then again, narutofan hosts the manga, which has been liscensed in the US for.... what.. 2 years? somewhere around there

Just cause it got liscensed doesnt mean crap. It will continue to be subbed by fans and sent out to people. Its ridiculous for us to have to pay fucking 30 dollars every 4 episodes for the dvd's....thank god for bittorrent.

As of now we can say that many things in the Naruto community will remain the same, AonE has said they will not drop Naruto as a series they subtitle. ANBU however is likely to drop the series completely, while Dattebayo has not made an official comment on the matter.

The Inu Yasha DVDs I watch have options for

English
Original Japanese voices with subs
English with subs. (funny to watch the actors say one thing and he sub say another.)

Its not as bad as you think. I love that the DVDs I have as such high quality.

This does suck, although the DVDs will obviously also have the option to play the episodes with the original Japanese dub, what bothers me is that if people will stop releasing fansubs, it's going to take years before the DVDs get to where the fansub is at now (ep120 so ~30 DVDs)
Boy, I really hope AnimeOne or Dattebayo keeps on fansubbing :evil:

anime one said they would keep on going, but anbu will most likely drop it.... and i dont know about dattebayo but i hope they keep going because they are the fastest subbers for naruto :D

and as of now, animesuki no longer shares torrents for naruto... (but i can still get them off isohunt or narutofan)

Lol, Naruto will be on Toonami on Cartoon Network, Summer 2005.

They're going to butcher it oh-so beautifully...It could be worse though, 4Kids Entertainment could've gotten it.

Also in roughly 2 more weeks Naruto is going to be yanked from bittorrent, I had a link to the site where all this was explained, I'll update when I find it again.

I just hope they dub it decently, InuYasha has pretty decent voice overs, but they screwed the hell out of the pronounciation of alot of the names, but thats just simple mistake of "Japanese see it as 'this' and read it as 'this' where as America sees it as 'this' and reads it as 'that'"

Doesn't matter. Subs will still continue, downloading eps will still continue. You can't stop people from subbing an anime that's this popular.
