Get a roomate!! I'm moving into an apartment next semester (After living in the dorms the first year) And I'm moving in with a lady-friend of mine from high school. Rent will be cheap and she cooks. I can't fucking wait. Living with my parents sucked and living in the dorms sucked. I wanna sit back and relax and have a few beers and have my own damn bathroom and buy my own groceries and bwuahahahahahahha i'm so fucking pumped it's not even funny.

I'm paying like $460 for my share of the 2-bed 2-bath apartment. The price is pretty inflated because it's right on campus. I want a roomate, preferably a cute girl who's in a sorority, so I can be like.... not bored in my dorm and know the good parties when I'm up for it.

But that's just me, I'm still pumped.

Never ever use credit card! ( unless, of course, you have nice parents who will help you pay them off once they are maxed out and you are paying waaaay too much to live in a tiny shitbox with 4 roommates who eat all your food and have a grow op in the bathroom...)

Set your finances seperately i used to live on my own and did pretty good..
but iwas too young.
anyways..
Recognize what is an Asset and a Liability,
distinguish the differences of Necessity and Luxury.

in other words..
control your spendings too..

oh. and invest in Medical care.

baby boomers are gonna retire soon.

and never tell anyone how much money you have/are save(d) up.
and you'll definitely find out who are your true friends.

and never have a house party (unless they're your true closest friends you trust). people will eat all your food and trash up your place..
its a pain in the ass.
