OMG U2 RoXXorz! I didn't realize it when I bought the ticket, well I know it was row 1, but the seat turned up to be at center ice in the players bench! (section 106, row 1, seat 102) (Yea they take down the bench and put in chairs) I can now say I sat in the players bench at GM place =) I'd never heard of the opening band before, Kings of Leon, which was ok. The lead singer looked like a messed up version of a roommate I once had. U2 mixed up their songs alot, ranging from Beautiful day to Bloody Sunday. They played Mysterious Ways and Where the Streets Have No Name so I was happy. At row one I was off the floor but I did have a seat( just in case) and the slight rise let me see the whole show. Besides the stage they had a walkway set up that circled thed floor for them to strut their stuff on. Possibly the only way to make it better would of been to attend in the body of a cute girl as Bono pulled about 6-10 up onto the stage to dance with him. oh well.. maybe next time

Ohhhh I am SO jealous!!!!!! Mysterious ways is probably my favorite song. Or In God's Country. Newest album my favorite is "sometimes you can't make it on your own". that part where it harmonizes and is like "and it's you"-- that's great (that made no sense) |
