ok, so I took my laptop in cause the video card is fried. I bought Windows XP to go in the desktop that I just replaced the harddrive on. I get this An error has been encountered that prevents Setup from continuing. One of the components that Windows needs to continue setup could not be installed. Data error (cyclic redundancy check). any idea what that could be? Its a brand new HD and a brand new copy of Windows XP home. It just keeps resetting when I click ok. |
