Hi, call me "crazy," but I don't really want my yogurt to wish me a good morning before I consume it. Also, I'm slightly narrowminded and I don't think we'll see this happening irl anytime soon. |

I don't like it one bit. Sure, maybe our mind and conciousness and whatnot might live on forever in cyberspace, but those are merely components of what makes us who we are, and not the entire package. What we end up with is preserving a shell of what we are, and not keeping the true self alive forever. While this is interesting, I have troubles believing it could actually happen, and quite frankly, I hope it doesn't happen. And yeah, I don't want to talk to my strawberry yogurt just before eating it either. |
