No, Iraq had nothing to do with Terrorism in the United States, and Bush pushed to accusse Saddam without regard to fact, see Downing Street Memo* as one piece of evidence. 2. Education, don't think this would need an explanation. 3. No, this is a tricky question, but with our current tactics, pursuing War with Iraq will only create more insurgents. Think how long conflict with Israelis and Palestines of the Middle East has been going on as an example. 4. Yes, Bin Laden committed crimes against the United States, and must be brought to justice. Unfortunately this will be very difficult. 5. Elaborating on 3., the Iraqi nation needs to be stablized. This will be a long process of rebuilding and ultimately demoralizing for the Iraqi people, for a foreign nation to come into their country to build it for them. By aiding and using native citizens of Iraq, the military could uncover more insurgents. Gain Iraqi trust, win the "hearts and minds" something thats not exactly being done right now. I'm gonna decline to answer. One should realize by now that this "survery" is flawed from the get go. You can't draw any logical conclusions when only two options are given. I mean I sure wish everyone's opinions fit into 2 black and white categories. There's a a lot of "yes but" and "No because" in all of these answers. For example should be at war in Iraq... probably not... but then again its a fact we already are. And the quesiton becomes how can we cease the war in Iraq and cause the least amount of harm doing so. It is my firm belief that the every military Leader in Iraq considers that everytime he orders a mission. Nobody wants to be over there, but those that are want to feel they are doing something good and neccesary for both their country and for the future of Iraq or even the world. |

That's not at all what I meant but thanks for proving my point. I've learned that anytime you ask/talk about religion or politics it turns into a select few with opposing views duking it out. That's all.. |
