Well I've been looking for a new one for 3 months. I either want a X800 XT Platinum Editon, a GeForce 6800 GT, or a GeForce 6800 Ultra.

So if any of you see these online, or maybe at a store near you, please let me know, because I want to buy it.

I currently have the X800 XT PE on Backorder at Outpost.com, but i have a feeling that won't ship until like Early september.

Well I'm also grabing a new Athlon 64 3400+ FX-53 chip and motherboard. So I'm gonna be the coolest kid in college 8)

I don't really know a whole lot about the PCI Express stuff.

Seriosuly, if you find one of these cards buy it. Even if you don't want it, then sell it on ebay, lol. you can make a killing....

Agreed.. that seems very steep for a graphics card.. I'm runnin ATI Radeon 9700 pro.. It gets the job done ^^

^ me also, I've had mine ordered for quite some time. But projected release is late August/Early September. MASSIVE GDDR3 RAM Shortage.

Well I almost bought it once.... but the guy ended up being a scammer, so I cancelled that one. There was an auction on Ebay just like 20 minutes ago and I bought one there for $400. The XT Platinum Edition. More people have bought from her but have yet to see the cards. She is a power seller and used paypal, so we're covered either way. So we'll see, the cards sold out in like 5 minutes,

from my constant checking I found a Leadtek 6800 GT pop onto ebay, I'm pretty sure I got the last one. should be here on Tuesday/Wednesday. Along with my FX-53 and Mobo. w00t
