LOL, it would suck if that shit got infected. I know some freaks who have done that crap to their bodies. I personally admire them for being able to sit through it, but I don't think I could ever do that to myself, I'm a wuss. I have some peircings and that's enough for me, haha.

Scarification is something a few of my friends are into. By into I mean obsessive, and by friend I mean people I liked in highschool that now creep me out. Then again I can't say much considering the peircings I have. Also, Jim you know damn well that a pic of a brown recluse bite has nothing to do with a scarification post. =P The scars by nature are sterile, and through all my travels with body mod groups I have never heard of one being infected. I contribute this to a few factors. One being they are sterile by nature, 2 they are HEAVILY watched by health groups for any danger since they tend to creep out rich white people so the areas you tend to get them done are immaculate, and the third being that since this is a rather extreme process the people who get them tend to keep very good care of them. It's hard to neglect care for someone you just paid someone to take a white hot peice of metal to.
