Just wondering how many others here play these genre of games.

I've been playing Beatmania, Dance Dance Revolution and ParaPara for around 3 years now~

Anyone else play?

Edit: I just realized I put this in the wrong section~ Someone be a nazi about that.

My friend has dance dance revolution and the pads. he cant play it at his house anymore because it's an old house and the structure can't take that punishment haha. but we've played it at my house. I once got a B rating on Boom Boom dollar. Yea, that's right.

Gitaroo man!! <3<3

I actually have played a lot more of 'Pump it Up' than DDR since that happens to be what they have in the arcade here. I still suck at it but it's fun anyway. :)

I'm starting to learn Salsa dancing. I've been the club a few times already... does that count?

It's not really simulated...more like real life.

i've been playing DDR for a while, mostly just on the 3 ps2 games, cuz my local arcade is like taken over by goth kids with goggles.

I would be so into these games, but, due to my complete lack of dancing skills, I cant play..... :( .... Off to go "Play" "DDR" (aka: watch people much better play)

Ok, I'm a club head. When someone first showed me DDR, I was like "wtf is this $#!+?". After finally being convinced to give it a try, I was hooked! I liked it so much, I went and bought a pad and game to take home that very same day. Usually when I stop by an arcade or whatever to play, I can only play the more house oriented songs, and not those hardcore songs with 1million arrows. As fun as DDR is, however, it is not a substitute to real dancin' on the floor, where there are no arrows to guide you, only the music and your spirit.
