So I have a few things I am looking at with this card. My girlfriend and I have been watching South Park a lot recently since I have like 400 channels and its on like 5 times a night. So I was thinking about starting to buy the seasons on DVD (Im a huge DVD TV Collector. I have lots of TV shows on DVD). I found out that CC released a box set with Seasons 1-5 on it for like $180. Ive also been pretty interested in getting a Nintendo DS. Mario Kart is awesome but I just never end up playing my Hand Held systems very much. I always have had the newest game boys but I never seem to sit down and use them. I think I have clocked maybe 40 hours total on my GBA and GBA SP. I have game for GBA that I bought 2-3 years ago and still havent opened. Im also considering just sitting on the money for now. Im interested in waiting for the new High Definition DVD players to come out (Blue-Ray or HD-DVD) and using it towards that. I wouldnt mind getting the Xbox360 down the road when some games I actually want come out. Although I really only want this to show off my new TV. I havent seen a game for xbox360 that really perked my interest. Anyone have any tips or advice? |

Do you have Firefly on Dvd? If nto get that. Otherwise any of the above options sound like fine uses of the card to me. I have the same problem with my portable systems. Just can't seem to justify playing them when i could be playing WoW or PS2. |

Yeah I have such a problem finding time to play a hand held. Right now I have a hard time playing any games at all. Too busy pretending Im cool. Firefly is an awesome show. I dont have it on DVD but I watched it on TV. Never got a chance to see it in theaters due to being too busy and not being able to find time. Not a bad suggestion at all. I might just grab that. right now my DVD must buy list consists of Samurai Jack Season 2 Inuyasha Volume 31-33(then no more lol) Astroboy: The Collection(1981 Era) God im a loser lol |

i would say get a an xbox 360. It looks disgustingly good on a normal tv lol. I could only imagine on your tv lol. However.. For you imo a ps3 would fit you alot better. Ask yourself what is there on 360 you want. Perfect dark looks freaken amazing. south park is ok. But really watching it too much waters you down lol. I would say hold it. Wait for ps3 lady. |

I've never seen Astro boy so I can't comment... Its worth getting as a Historical piece anyway... but Samurai jack... come on. I like "action" as much as the next guy but one simply can't hold my attention with 3-5 liens of dialogue per episode and 20 minutes of jack running around with his sword. |

Its the lack of lines in Samurai Jack that I like. Astroboy is one of the original (i think it may be the original) anime cartoons. I use to watch it when I was like 5-7 years old before school. I use to get up at 6:30PM (I could have stayed in bed until 8PM) just to watch it. I want it for retro fun. Same reason I got He-man DVD set. |

I think you should just sit on the money for now. 1) It's not going to expire any time soon. 2) You don't seem to have anything in mind/have seen anything that really interests you. 3) Something might come along after you spend this on something you don't want that much and then you're out of luck!!!!! 4) It could help you get appliances you may need in 5 months. Just some suggestions from your loving girlfriend! |

There are some games you can just play for a little while when you have not a lot of time with your DS. Like mario kart for example, you like playing it and you don't always have to sit around for a long time getting a quest done or something. And I just bought Sonic Rush, if you're into the old Sonic games then you'd really like it. It's side scrolling like the others were then the boss is in 3D, and you don't need to sit down for a long time to finish a zone and stuff. Hmm other than that I don't know what to suggest lol |

I keep my DS here at my computer, and whip it out whenever I'm seeking or waiting for some reason or another. Mario Kart DS is as fine a game on any console...Sonic Rush (another Hanukkah present) is also the best 2-D Sonic since Sonic and Knuckles, hands down. Castlevania, Animal Crossing...well, Yarr knows I'm a hardcore Nintendo fanboy, but seriously, they deserve it on the DS. However, 350 is quite a bit, and if you're looking forward to the PS3, it might be a good idea to hold it in check. I personally predict a pre-E3 launch (everyone's saying "I'm waiting for the PS3" when the 360 is brought up, but some of these people are going to lose their patience), so being able to stroll in and knock off $350 of the probably exorbitant price could be REALLY nice. |

Has Sony announced a release price for the PS3 yet? I'm really anxious to see how Sony can capitalize on MS's botched launch. |
