K yea... Lol Anybody following Season 2 ?

I'm not much of a fan of anime. However, i've been keeping my attention on this one. Now only has it grabed my attention. Its driving me freaken nuts with the plot twists turns and the freaken drama!

Its freaken great. Next weeks episode has edward, fighting sloth. Sloth being the body of edward and al's mother.
Imagine having to fight your mother, more like your mothers body but not her soul. Having to deal with that and the fact that sloth has killed so many innocent people, i can't imagine how he feels lol.

MAn its freaken gripping!

This series is so good i'm gonna start collecting the episodes. Cause its just that good.

Mikey, the last few episodes will make your head explode. It really is a fantastic series, [AS] had some good insight to pick up on it. The second season does get totally crazy since its when you start learning about the gate, what's behind it, and the haemonculi. And when you see the ending, remember there's a movie after that already released (and another one in production I think?) so it doesn't end there.

yes i know its freaken exciting.

Homunculos.. all of them are incredible lol. They have so much behind them. I find it cool they're named after the deadly sins of man.

Lust's turn around is getting me so confused lol. She's done so many horrible things and now she gives me this impression as if she carries quilt for the things she's done. Like i know she's one of the first few homunculi who had flash backs. She's seen parts of her past life.

Envy- has so much going on with him its insane lol. I think i heard he's the oldest of them all. He has the ability to transform into anyone he wants, he's forgotten his original form though. He was apparently created by Ed and Al's dad. I think he's another son. Not sure about that but maybe that could be true considering, the jealousy he has for ed and al. Honestly i think alot of this story has to do with not only the elric sons, but alot to do with envy. I've read some manga haha..

Jesus tap dancing christ its exciting!

at first i though it would be shitty because you know. SE produced it. but no, it is the best anime i have ever seen.

i think what cought me is that i am in chemistry right now and i am just learning about real life alchemy, and how everything in the show links to what im learning irl. and haha FMA HAS halped me on a few tests.

i have been following it for a while now, and its only getting better!

Id say about the last 12-15 episodes will make this your favorite anime if youre already enjoying the twists and stuff so far.

This is easily one of my favorites, the movie was pretty sick too.

How do you like the opening theme song Mikey? The band's site here is in japanese but they're pretty cool. I've been listening to a lot of their music lately. They also did the second opening for Naruto.

2 seasons lol? What I like about japan is the release all 50 episode in 50 weeks. You don't need to wait 2-3 years to see the whole thing.

FMA is one of my favorite anime. There is a few slow episodes at time, but the majority were pretty damn good. Character were interesting, and you get attached to them very easily. The plot keep getting bigger and bigger and always leave you wanting more.

Everyone who says it's the greatest anime ever make me sad.

It's great, but following it are:

Ghost in The Shell
Cowboy Bebop

Which imo, both surpass it in art, style, story(be it that GiTS is pretty complex, it's incredibly deep thus far).

Granted, my records on my DVR are Evangelion(never saw series..enjoying...not looking forward to ending because of the moans that appear when it's brought up), Samurai Shamploo (If they did 3x as many deep involving artistic episodes like CB, it would top the rest easily, but there's too many filler stories, honestly), FMA (which is great, albiet predictable.), and GiTS(revolutionary art, storytelling techniques, and music. Nothing on AS touches it yet in quality.).

I've seen these too. And ghost in the shell is pretty good too. But what catches me with fma is the emotional attachment of the elric brothers. The sins they're both paying for and how they are trying get something back that seems out of reach.

GiTS just seems complex because they use big words that havent been invented yet.

haha but i love GiTS i love the idea of being able to have a completley functional body that i can switch out when ever it gets dirty.

I liked the first season of ghost in the shell. THe second one I didn't really get into but I watch it when I can. I wish samurai champloo would have more deep episodes, I really like how they took a hip-hop spin on samurai story telling, and the story is really good too.

I can't follow Ghost in the Shell for shit..

back on topic: I've been watching Fullmetal Alchemist since adult swim started showing it. I watched the first season when they showed it on saturdays and all summer when they showed it 3 times a week.

The first game, I bought 'cause it said Fullmetal Alchemist >_> You should've posted something before buying, could've told you it sucked. They should've made it instead of FFXII :P

The second season I missed 3 episodes and I come back and Alphonse has the philosopher's stone inside of him. I know Scar did it from that flashback.

I'm guessing Ed dies 'cause Al narrorated the first season intro.

Theres only 51 episodes I think, and they just showed 47 saturday I think. They're might be more, but I haven't bothered checking. I wish they'd show the last 4 all on one night or something.. Watch them play the whole season 2 over again and make us watch it and then show the next to last and start over again.

Oh well, summarized:

I like FMA but the games suck.

i'm only playing them cause it has some animated movies in it haha

I kinda thought it'd have more story in it, but the gameplay sucked and the game was too easy.

Is the second one following the story or is it added stuff also?

I might waste another 10 hours of my life collecting all the rare stuff in that this weekend.

SC would be great if they did more deeper, CB-esque episodes. The last few two-parters have been very good, and the realization that the gov't is out to get them is a good arc, but at the end of all *that*, we're back to fillers. Too many fillers for a show like that; it isn't Naruto.
