Post subject:  Skyline question
about to buy a 1991 nissan skyline GT-R R34 for 11,000 CAN. a bit of work to be done on the body (a small dent on the top) and the body kit on the left side is ungluing and theres a bit of rust. My question is; Is this worth it to buy and invest money in or not? it has 98,000 KM on it btw which is a bit fishy but anyways lol what do you guys think?

I was looking into getting one. Be careful because alot of them that are shipped over from jp get raped with California emissions. And people with the r-34 usually beat the hell outa them. Funny thing is the newer ones, like the Supra TT's, sell in the mid 40's... waste of $ if u ask me

And fyi, Nissan is in the works to bring the Skyline over to the us...

was looking around and the average price for that car is 45k lol even tho its 91, my biggest concern is that its not legit haha i guess ill pass on this one. Nissan is rumored to be bringing the skyline over to the us in 2009 but the engine will no where near be the same as the R34 GT-R they will definatly limit it where as the R34 GT-R can be jumped to 1200 Horse power simply by adding a stage 4 turbo or fucking around with a computer and diferential chips. Not to mention it will probably cost like 100k lol. But thank you guys for your advice :)

Isn't the Infiniti G-35 the Americanized Skyline? I thought that Nissan owned Inifiniti or something and that was their answer to it. I'm probably wrong though.

speaking of the charger, has anyone seen the new police supercharged chargers? each state got like one i think, and ny got 10 and texas got like 5 i duno... but its blackand it said POLICE in big orange letter on the side, with a big ass thing on the front end... ohh god i hate to be chased down by one of those but i guess it was the car of choice because recently i guess a craze of toyota MR2's were out running the police on the freeway. so they decided to step it up and try the changer out and maybe make more...

g-35 is the "american skyline" but not the same engine as the GT-R R34 and not the same look. I dont even consider an infinity a skyline

I was at a data center today and saw a g-35. I took another look at it when i walked and on the trunk where it normally says infinity it said Skyline. I took a pic on my camera phone but have no idea how to get it off =)
