That took more balls then anyone I have ever met in my life. Literally if they had metal balls, you would be the proud owner of those metal balls.

Is the people fighting in the background part of the whole concept? Or is it just the style of the dance that is.

The sword fight in the background was pretty hilarious.

Being someone's who's job used to be running tournies for games like this, you have no Night of Fire!?! I mean, just look at what happens at Otakon 2006!

EDIT: And because I just stumbled over this. Legend Of Zelda

You know I'm huge fucking nerf but I still don't quite understand the concept of this.

So parapara is a video game akin to DDR except it uses sensors for hand motions? and then you practice this so much you can do the dance without the machine?

If not that where does the routine come from?

Edit: Okay I visited your site and it lists "choreo" next to the videos I assume that means where the dance came from... but what does PPP or whatever mean?

Hahaha, I'm glad everyone enjoyed this... lets see:

Cad - Yep, comments are disabled. Why? That seems pretty obvious to me.

Dae - Thank you very much for the Metal Balls Award. I humbly accept.

Also, the swordfight in the background is just something we kinda of 'do' with our single videos. Whenever anyone in Team Sugoi! dances solo, the other performers just kinda go nuts in the background...Watch some of our other videos to see the running joke.

Vurin - PPP stands for "ParaPara Paradise", which is a series of VCD's from Japan that have professional dancers performing the dances for each song. So, for instance, if our Choreo says "PPP2" that means that the choreography for the dance we are performing is originally created by the dancers of ParaPara Paradise VCD #2.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, I grow stronger with every ounce of attention I get, leading me to do nerdier and nerdier things on camera.

EDIT: As for Night of Fire...we WILL be filming this dance as well, I just have to finish my series of Korriki (the fat guy) costumes, haha.

Sorry, I forgot to answer that one~

No actually, this style of dance was started back in the late 70's/early 80's, and had a big boom of popularity in Japan in the early 90's, but a few years ago, Konami decided to bank on it by making "Para Para Paradise" for the Arcade and PS2.

Basically, they set up 5 sensors in front of you, and you do the dance normally, which should have your arms go through the correct sensors at the right time for a better score.

Basically it's DDR for your hands.

But no, this didn't start as a game, it started as a goofy dance in clubs, and they made a game about it.
