Among the prime-time programs baseball finished behind were "Desperate Housewives" (21.24 million viewers on ABC), "Dancing with the Stars" (20.70 million on ABC), "CSI: Miami" (17.83 million on CBS), "CSI: NY" (17.42 million on CBS), the Dallas at Carolina Sunday night NFL game (17.33 million on NBC), "Lost" (17.09 million on ABC), "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (16.83 million on CBS), "Criminal Minds" (16.77 million on CBS) and "60 Minutes" (16.55 million on CBS).

Wow baseball is so popular compared to football World Series TV ratings are at 10.2 compare that to Monday Night Football 14.3 American Idol 19.2 and god's gift to man (the Super Bowl) 40.4

They should make a show about desperate housewives who dance with the stars from miami and new york at a dallas-carolina football game but they get lost at a crime scene investigation because they have criminal minds for 60 minutes. That shit would sell.
