So apparently my POL ID isn't linked to my SE account... because when I try and make a character in XIV, I'm not prompted to transfer my character name, and I don't get the hermes shoes when I log in.





Am I on crack or is something wrong here? The SE account management system appears to be telling me that my accounts are linked... which would make sense since I own a security tolken, and the only way to use that is by linking your accounts.

And yes, my POL account is active, at least it better be. I'm still getting charged for it... but I havent logged on in a few months.

I went ahead and shot SE an email, but they usually take a few days to get back to me and in my experiences, they aren't very helpful most of the time.

If anyone has any ideas as to why this would be happening, I'd appreciate it... Id like to actually start playing.

When you registered FFXIV, did you choose an existing service (if you did the beta at all)?

I played in the alpha, but I didn't participate in the beta.

I'd go load PlayOnline and make sure your Content ID is still active and hasn't gotten deactivated recently due to a credit card problem or something. If you don't have PlayOnline anymore for whatever reason you can download an installer from SE's site (which they uploaded because of Vista compatibility).

i think you need to link POL with SE account. It's registered but is it linked?
Look at your link settings, it will show up there.
