How the fuck do I get exp like that at 31? haha. I ended up with 15k exp after 3 hours of boring solo grinding last night.

Maybe I should search for a party. OH WAIT. This game's party search feature sucks a fat one.

FFXIV is nothing but a shitty grindfest with leve quests and a boring story. FFXI was so much better. Atleast it's still free. I'll be reluctant to pay monthly whenever that starts.

Kluya, find a duo partner, or a trio group, or something. If you're solo, you'll want to target Coblyn/Doblyn monsters. Unfortunately, that's what everyone else targets, as well. When you're duo/trio, you can at least target different monsters and not worry about competition.

Barring that, the stuff Whisp has posted starts at around 9 p.m. ET each night of a leve reset. If you wanted to do that stuff with R30 leves, it'd probably require a bit of shouting around town in order to get a core group of people together to do it. Maybe need to create a separate LS for it, as well and hand out shells.

There are enough CKD people in the 25-35 range to probably form a big chunk of any party that would be interested in doing this, supposing you wanted to start to get something organized.

You're right, though. SP is tough. It's really a claw, tooth and nail type situation to do whatever you can to keep moving forward.

That's all good advice, thank you! I have a feeling it will get better at 40 when I can group with the 40+ people. I'll keep chugging away and keep my eyes peeled for leve linking parties.

everyone keeps saying find a duo or trio partner but i've had absolutely no luck with finding anyone at all in game. i barely even see my own ls let alone another person who actually speaks. everyone in ls seems to be already partnered up or not interested. problem is without a good party search feature or at least ANY search feature to look for ppl around your lvl, its really freaking hard to meet anyone at all thats remotely useful to you

I liked DCU, but I didnt buy it. The beta was fun, but im not sure the devs really understand how to balance the game.

I might get DCU in the summer.

I literally put FFXIV Collector's on ebay for $25 for an entire week and it didn't sell. Is the game really that bad? I wonder if this game is gonna last long enough for me chance playing it or if its just gonna die and lose members as they flock to something...better. FFXI sold me years ago not because of loot or how challenging it was but because truthfully, the damn story was awesome. Everything was pretty well-thought out and connected.

I currently have Starcraft 2 and Civ V as well as an XBox 360 and I'm just kind of tempted to play something MMO related.

I could fire up FFXIV but I've been following the complaints as well as how much the game is "like work" I'm not sure if that is an avenue I wanna dive into. Searching two hours for a shield iin a bazaar doesn't quite match my ideal of fun. I hated LFP longer than 30 minutes in FFXI. As I got older I guess I got less patient or time became more precious. Plus if I'm playing a game where the highlight is collecting and crafting one may as well play Farmville, I wanna actually adventure and stuff...and stuff.

I have heard some great responses about DCUO but I also know it's not an MMO by MMO standards. I have a wireless XBox controller for PC so a bit more research to see if that will make it more optimal to play with vs. the mouse. I've weighed the price of it as well as the free month so I am starting to think it might very well be worth it. What has kept you from committing to buy it?

I stayed away from Cataclysm but I considered falling in since I have the time but WoW has that cyclical stuff of roll class...level up....re-roll that I'm not sure I am interested in doing....again. The PVP and UI was great though.

Truthfully I just want something new that I know will be around for awhile...

Game Suggestions?

Superfly you should play DCU if youre looking for an MMO. Its a great MMO. Id play it now if I wasnt already signed up for two other MMOs.

supa dont give up on FF14. it's fun now, but once the new dev team makes sweeping changes it could really shine.
