You just have the boots in your inventory as long as your POL ID is linked and the character is active. You can go into "Link Settings" in the account management to see if your POL ID is linked. And obviuosly make sure your FFXI character (its Content ID) is active too.

I tried to register my game to get points under the members section, and it says that the code had expired. haha. I'm not sure what to do there.

Not that I can tell, no. just says to register it for points. But then it says it's expired.

I couldn't think of a last name and Tanag Alexander isnt allowed unless the game is active, so I went with the name of the LS I was famous for running in FFXI.

Im surprised at how crappy the US version of the FFXIV CE is. The items in here are garbage. This little journal is retarded. That map ket got was bad ass. Im not inviting ket out of jelousy.

I know! I just picked up my copy, and I wish it had a cool map and tumbler.

I'm writing down the recipes I'm given after some of my leves since I'm not sure if there's any way to access them after they disappear from the chat box. I was thinking about writing down recipes in my journal or journal entries from the game in it just to actually make use of it, but I'd feel bad writing on the nice looking pages.

I'm getting off for a little again, just had a FFXIV has stopped working error. Also on my way to Camp Broken Water to make a delivery, I stopped to look at the scenery and next thing I know there is a train of monsters behind me that I hadn't seen at all while running there. sigh

why do i have 2 ffxiv servies under my accounts one has onion helm ffxiv windows and ffxiv beta and the other one has just ffxiv windows...

You were supposed to merge your two service accounts when you enter your registration code. It comes up asking you whether you'd like a new service account or if it should create a new one, you told it to create a new one instead of re-using the old one.

It's a much uch better idea to merge them so you don't end up losing your bonus items (or your reserved name) in the void.

thats what i did, but when i enter one of the codes that came with the game it automatically created the second srevice for some reason
