Imported my open beta character so I pretty much skipped the creator. Will annoy people by posting more things that are different as I spot them.

Oh fuck the Hermes shoes give you flee hahaha. (They have like zero defense though)

EDIT: I look goofy in the Onion Helm. Armguards look awesome though.

Lame the intro scene doesnt give you 1000 exp per mob anymore (I got 0 on all three). The skill you get is nothing special either.

EDIT: To clarify, the shoes give you the Quickened status that you get from gathering jobs the moment you equip them, there's no limited charges or anything or even a time limit written on them. Not that I can see yet anyway.

Guys i have the NA release version torrent, you guys could install it now and update it, get it out of the way. It's a clean copy from a trusted source.

I found my FFXIII. I couldnt find it anywhere. It was mixed in with my old HD-DVDs. I have a feeling my wife might be a factor in how it got there since the cases are the same size haha.

From what I read, you can register the bonus stuff to your account early, but they wont "appear" until you register FFXIV.

Probably different for me, the EU Members Site wasnt all tightly knit with the SE stuff like the US one was. I literally had to sign up for the SE Members site (like it says on the card) and then input the code, which told SE that I owned FFXIII. Then it emailed me a FFXIV registration code.

I then put that FFXIV code into the Square Enix account thing in the same place where you register your game.

Hey leves give Crystals as rewards now along with your gil, crystals not shards.

Btw these shoes are sooooo worth the FFXI sub lol. You get perma flee as long as you're not in battle and not in a guildleve.

lol I was so close to having it tonight, IT WAS IN MY HANDS lol. If the Best Buy system didnt have a lock in place they would have sold it to me no problem, but the system had a lock. The guys helping me were pretty nice about everything. I dont think I needed to embelish.

They've made Crystals (not shards) a lot easier to get, every so often stuff I kill is dropping one along with 6 or so shards. i have like 10-12 or so crystals already.

Ket what about the UI lag? Is there a lot of lag? does it take forever to drop or sell? Is crafting any better? Do you freeze or hang still?
